Justine Lavit (born 19 July 2006) is a French rhythmic gymnast and a member of the national group.[1][2]

Career

Junior

In October 2020, Justine trained at the INSEP in the selection process for the team for the European Championships in Kyiv, she was 3rd and was not selected.[3] In 2021 she won bronze at nationals in Calais,[4] in October she was fully integrated into the INSEP to become part of the national team, trying to achieve her dream of competing at the 2024 Olympic Games.[5]

Senior

In 2022 she competed at the Gymnasiade winning silver in the All-Around.[6] In March 2023 she debuted as a member of the group at the international tournament in Fellbach-Schmiden, taking 6th place in both finals.[7] She then participated in the World Cup in Sofia, replacing Ashley Julien, where France won 3 bronze medals.[8][9] In April she competed in Baku, the group was 8th in the All-Around and 6th with hoops.[10][11] In April the girls won all the gold medals at the tournament in Thiais.[12] It was later revealed she was among the selected gymnasts for the European Championships in Baku along Eleonore Caburet, Emma Delaine, Manelle Inaho, Lozea Vilarino, Celia Joseph-Noel and the individuals Hélène Karbanov and Maelle Millet.[13]
