Kadhal FM (transl. Love FM) is a 2005 Indian Tamil romantic drama film directed by Jayaprakash starring Manikandan, Shivani Singh and Aravind Akash.[1]

Cast[edit]

Production[edit]

The film is directed by Jayaprakash who previously directed Sathisanam (1997).[2] The film was shot in and around Chennai, Pondicherry, Tuticorin, Karaikudi, Auroville and Tiruchi.[3][4]

Soundtrack[edit]

Soundtrack was composed by Aravind-Shankar.[5]

Reception[edit]

Indiaglitz wrote "The narration could have been taut and a bit more urgency could have brought into the proceedings. But Jayaprakash has shown some promise. But the room for improvement is still there.".[6] Malini Mannath of Chennai Online opined that "But otherwise, there's not much going for the film with its hotch-potch situations and lacklustre narration. A couple of suggestive lines have been surreptitiously pushed in, and the sound picturisations too border more on the 'sizzling' than the aesthetic".[7] A critic from BizHat wrote that "Director Jayaprakash should be applauded for his neat narration and not making the story into a typical love triangle with mistaken identities. But at times the film drags".[8]
