Kfir Tsafrir (born March 28, 1990) is an Israeli singer, composer, rapper and music producer.[1]

Life

Tsafrir grew up near Peja, in Petah Tikva. He started creating music at the age of 14 and learned how to write and compose.

In March 2020, the first single from her album, "Missing You", was released. At the end of the year, they also released "Another Star", "Higher", "Flex with Dafna and Dodido" and "Not Everything Is Working" with the participation of singer Keren Crispil.[2][3] In August, he presented and produced the music "Click" by rapper Ron Nesher. In September 2021, their album, "Run", was released. The album features special participations from Omer Nachmias, Ziv Shavit, Teddy Ngusa, Keren Crispil, Mevu HaDodaim and Nomi.

In 2022 he participated in the reality show “The Next Star”. In an audition, he sang the opening music of his star album, “Crime Film”, and won 82% of the public and two juries.[4][5]

Tsafrir was eliminated in the final phase. Following the positive reactions he received on the program, he signed a contract with the program production company, “Teddy Productions”. In 2022, a “Hakochav Haba” participant born in Israel, but of Filipino descent, could face deportation for the reason that Kfir Tsafrir, after appearing as a judge in the contest, dedicated his performance to an original song titled “Esh.” (Fogo), for Daniel Cruz, or young people who do not have permanent residence status in the State of Israel.[6]

In September 2022, after the impeachment trial, the music "Sos Taverini" was released.[5] In February 2023, he released the music "Fear of God". The music was an unexpected event in November, about nine months after its release, it began to gain virality on the TikTok platform and in various streams.[7] The music can be played first at the Mako stop, at the top of Kan Gimel and at the official Galgalatz stop. On March 12, 2024, the single "Detach me" was released with Netta Barzilai.[8][9]

On May 9 of the same year, "Israel Bidor - Singing to the State" was published online, where Tsafrir sang the music "Albabala" with Anna Zeke.[2]
