Kipiani

Kipiani (Georgian: ყიფიანი) is a Georgian noble family, formerly a princely one (tavadi). On 6 December 1850 they were granted the title Knyaz in Russia and were also part of the Russian nobility. "Kipi"(Georgian: ყიფი) means proud.
