Kurin District (Persian: بخش کورین) is in Zahedan County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Sar Jangal.[3]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 23,138 in 4,391 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 18,048 people in 4,166 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 25,898 inhabitants in 6,694 households.[2]
After the census, the village of Sar Jangal was elevated to the status of a city.[6]
