The Lao League 1, known as the Pepsi Lao League 1 for sponsorship reasons, is an association football league. The league is composed of 8 clubs.
Format
[edit]Over the course of a season, which runs from February to September, each team plays against the others 3 times in a triple round-robin. 3 points are awarded for a win, one for a draw and zero for a loss. The teams are ranked in the league table by points gained, then goal difference, then goals scored and then their head-to-head record for that season.[1]
