Aerobic Al is often displayed engaging in various athletic endeavours. He has blond hair and is shown to be one of Henry's close friends. He wears a white shirt with a blue collar, blue shorts and teal shoes. In the TV series, he speaks with a Brummie accent and is voiced by Wayne Forester. In Horrid Henry: Live and Horrid!, he is portrayed by Howie McCullough. In Horrid Henry: The Movie, he is portrayed by Jack Sanders.

Aerobic Al's Dad

Aerobic Al's dad comes to some school events, mostly to see his son winning. In the TV series, he appears in "Horrid Henry's Fun Run", where he has brown hair and is a referee. He does not want his son to be eating sweets in "Horrid Henry Sports Day". Like his son, he speaks with a Brummie accent and is voiced by Wayne Forester.

Allergic Alice

Allergic Alice is a minor character who appears in Horrid Henry: Krazy Ketchup in the story, "Horrid Henry and the Revenge of the Bogey Babysitter", where she is said to be too busy sneezing to see kids sneaking sweets while she is babysitting them, and Horrid Henry's Cannibal Curse, in which she is revealed to be allergic to gluten, nuts, sugar, flour and dairy.

Angus Airbrain the Third

Angus Airbrain the Third is a British musician and a guitarist in the Killer Boy Rats. Dressing in a goth rockstar fashion, Angus has short black hair and wears heavy makeup. He is voiced by Wayne Forester.

Anxious Andrew is one of Henry's classmates; a nervous and meek boy, who always worries about unnecessary things. He is best friends with Weepy William and attends Ashton Primary School. He has ginger hair and wears a dark green tank top with a green shirt and blue-grey trousers. In the TV series, he is voiced by Sue Elliott-Nichols.

Aquarium Security Guard

The Aquarium Security Guard is a security guard who works at the aquarium. He first appears in "Horrid Henry: Aquarium", and later appears in "Horrid Henry and the Birthday Present", "Horrid Henry Meets B.B. Silver", "Horrid Henry Goes to the Park", "Horrid Henry and the Movie Star", "Horrid Henry's Perfect Protest", "Horrid Henry's Top Ten Things and "Horrid Henry's Girl Talk". He is voiced by Wayne Forester.

Ashen Annabel

Ashen Annabel is a character who appeared in the episode "Horrid Henry Meets B.B. Silver". She appears in the queue to get her autograph. She resembles Nasty Nicola; although she has a completely different voice and looks younger. The only differences in her appearance is that she wears a hat, and has green hair bands and a slightly different hairdo. She also appears in "Horrid Henry and the Awful Author" at the book signing event. She is voiced by an uncredited Bella Whiteley, daughter of series producer Lucinda Whiteley.

Awful Author

The Awful Author is an author who wrote "The Adventures of Dreadful Deirdre", an in-universe parody of the original Horrid Henry books. This would become the plot and conflict of the episode "Horrid Henry and the Awful Author". She is based on Francesca Simon, the author of the Horrid Henry books. The Author reuses B.B. Silver's character design, only with different colours and a different outfit. She is voiced by Emma Tate.

B

Babbling Bob

Babbling Bob is a minor character and one of Horrid Henry's friends and classmates. He appears to talk a lot, hence his name. Bob appears in "Horrid Henry's Birthday Party" as a guest at Henry's party, and is mentioned in "Fluffy Struts Her Stuff".

Basher

Basher is a dog who appears in "Horrid Henry and the Lost Dog", who Henry finds and part-time owns for a while. It is later revealed that he is missing after an advert passes through Henry's house's door. His name appears to have been inspired by Gnasher from The Beano's Dennis the Menace and Gnasher. His vocal effects are provided by Tamsin Heatley.

B.B. Silver

B.B. Silver is the author of the "Gross Class Zero" books and comics. Henry thought that she was a boy until she was revealed in Series 2 to be female. Her book counterpart is T.J. Fizz in "Horrid Henry's Author Visit". In Series 4, from "Horrid Henry Tells the Truth", another person called B.B. Silver in a new look is interviewed. In the Series 5 episode "Horrid Henry: Anything You Can Do", she appeared in Henry's imagination watching him play Peter's cello on stage as Madame Tutu plays her piano. She is based on Francesca Simon, the author of the original Horrid Henry books, and is voiced by series producer Lucinda Whiteley.

Beefy Bert is usually seen in the crowds of children at Henry and Peter's school, and is normally seen with Ralph and Al. Whenever anyone asks him a question, his immediate answer is "I dunno," which is actually the only line Bert ever says throughout the entire book series. He is the biggest boy in Henry's class. Both his parents and his brother also say "I dunno," as revealed when he films them for a school project in the story "Horrid Henry Tells It Like It Is" in the book Horrid Henry's Krazy Ketchup. In the TV series, Bert is voiced by Wayne Forester, and his voice was originally low-pitched and deep, but from the second series onwards, it was changed to a higher-pitched, squeakier one. Like his book counterpart, the only word he says is "I dunno." However, in the Series 1 episode "Horrid Henry Gets Rich Quick", he says "Have you got any food?", and in the Series 4 episode "Horrid Henry: Who's Who?", after switching personalities with Brainy Brian, he gives his answers in full sentences. In Horrid Henry: The Movie, he is portrayed by Connor O'Mara.

Beefy Bert's Dad

Beefy Bert's dad is a bus driver who appears in "Horrid Henry Takes a Shortcut", "Horrid Henry and the Purple Pass", "Horrid Henry and the Perfect Parents" and "Horrid Henry Alone at Home". Like his son, whenever anyone asks him a question, his immediate answer is "I dunno." He is voiced by Wayne Forester in "Horrid Henry Takes a Shortcut" and "Horrid Henry: Alone at Home" and Aidan Cook in "Horrid Henry's Parents' Evening".

Beefy Bert's Mum

Beefy Bert's mum appears in "Horrid Henry and the Purple Pass", where she checks the tickets on the bus. She is voiced Sue Elliott-Nichols. In the books, she appears in "Horrid Henry Tells It Like It Is", where with the rest of Bert's family, she says, "I dunno."

Beefy Bert's Aunt

Beefy Bert's aunt appears in "Horrid Henry's Sleepover" in Dad's flashback, calling him to come and collect Henry after he gave Bert a Mohican. She also appears in "Horrid Henry's Parents Evening", where she is seen with Bert's mum and dad. Unlike Bert and his parents, she does not say, "I dunno." She is voiced by Tamsin Heatley.

Bob (also known as Big Boss, Big Bob or "Bob Sir") is Dad's work boss. He is very strict, and is extremely proud of his son, Bill, whom he believes is perfect. However, he discovers that this is not the case after catching Bill photocopying his bottom. He grounds Bill for a month and sends him home. His book appearance was in "Horrid Henry Goes to Work", and he is mentioned in "Horrid Henry's Arch Enemy". In the audiobook editions read by Miranda Richardson, both Bob and his son have American accents.

In the TV series, he is referred to as Bob or Bob Sir, and is the CEO of Tingly Toothbrushes, a company that makes toothbrushes in their factory. Dad is one of his employees. He appeared in the adaptation of "Horrid Henry Goes to Work", and has also appeared in "Horrid Henry's Heist" as the school inspector at the fancy dress party (where his character design looks like an older version of his son, Bill), "Horrid Henry's Skipping Lesson" when he was in the park on his way to an appointment with Bill's headmaster, and "Horrid Henry Helps Out". He is voiced by Aidan Cook.

Bogey Barbara

Bogey Barbara is one of the main characters of "Gross Class Zero", one of Horrid Henry's favourite shows. She has light green skin with pink hair, wears a green hat, a green shirt, a green skirt and pink shoes, and usually has a bogey hanging from her nose, hence her name. She is voiced by Sue Elliott-Nichols.

Bossy Bill is the horrible, stuck-up son of Dad's boss. His father thought he was perfect until Henry tricked him into photocopying his bottom at the office, but he still is a mischievous boy, as is evident from when he made tea, but added salt instead of sugar. In the books, he appears in "Horrid Henry Goes to Work", "Horrid Henry's Arch Enemy" and "Horrid Henry's Horrid Weekend". In the audiobook editions read by Miranda Richardson, both Bill and his father have American accents.

In the TV series, he is voiced by Joanna Ruiz and has a Scouse accent. He appears in "Horrid Henry Goes to Work", "Perfect Peter Pumps Up", "Horrid Henry Says Goodbye", "Perfect Peter's Perfect Day", "Horrid Henry's Skipping Lesson" and "Horrid Henry Helps Out". In "Perfect Peter Pumps Up", Bill visits Ashton Primary School for a few days and makes Perfect Peter be his friend. He starts treating Peter like a slave, and when Peter tries to stand up to Bill, he dumps him upside down in the bin. Henry tries making Peter tougher but fails, until he realises the only way to make Peter vicious. The next day in the cafeteria, Henry shows Bill Peter's Bunny, which he takes and ridicules Peter with. This makes Peter furious and results in him beating up Bill. He then used him as a chair and Henry pours milk on his hair. Knowing that he is going to continue getting bullied by Henry and Peter if he stays at Ashton Primary School, Bill moves to Brick House School, which he now attends along with Stuck-Up Steve and the Brick House Boys.

Brainbox Presenters

The Brainbox Presenters are two holographic men who work as presenters for "Too Cool for School" (also known as "2C4S"), and appear in "Horrid Henry Wins the Cup", "Horrid Henry and the Measly Mascot" and "Horrid Henry's Wild Weekend". The characters are based on Dick and Dom, who also portray the characters in Horrid Henry: The Movie. They are voiced by Aidan Cook.

Brainy Brian is considered the smartest boy in Horrid Henry's class. He appears to be of African-British descent. He is also seen playing the violin, but never plays it when told to. He is voiced by Aidan Cook. In Horrid Henry: The Movie, he is portrayed by Reuben Lee.

Brick House Boys

The Brick House Boys are a duo of students from Brick House School. They first appeared in "Horrid Henry Takes a Shortcut" as the main antagonists. In the episode, they are supposed to run against Aerobic Al and Beefy Bert in the cross country race, but instead race Horrid Henry and Rude Ralph when Al and Bert got hurt. When the race starts, they run very fast, but become tired as they take a shortcut. However, they do not know that Ralph and Henry were taking a shortcut as well until Henry revealed on the bus that Brick House School is cheating too. Henry tricks the Brick House Boys into getting off the bus at the wrong stop. Later, the Brick House Boys are nearly at the school, but Ralph knocks them over and crosses the finishing line, thus making them lose the race.

They appear in "Horrid Henry in Detention", having a football match against Henry's classmates, in which Ashton defeats them again. They later appear in Series 5 in "Horrid Henry Wins the Cup" and "Horrid Henry and the Measly Mascot", as part of the Brick House team with Stuck-Up Steve for the Brainbox of the Year contest. They also appear in the extended version "Horrid Henry's Wild Weekend". Here they are far more unintelligent and silly; they copy everything that Steve says, and make fun of the Ashton Adventurers as well like Steve does, teasing Moody Margaret at some point. They are voiced by Wayne Forester in "Horrid Henry Takes a Shortcut" and Aidan Cook in "Horrid Henry Wins the Cup", "Horrid Henry and the Measly Mascot" and "Horrid Henry's Wild Weekend".

Bunny

Bunny is Peter's adorable toy rabbit. It is Peter's version of Mr. Kill. His most major roles in the TV series are in "Horrid Henry and the Time Capsule", in which Henry gives Bunny to the capsule and rescues him; "Horrid Henry Trapped", in which Henry has Bunny in the hospital after he was injured whilst saving Peter from a falling shelf in the cellar; and "Perfect Peter Pumps Up", in which Henry realises that the only way to turn Peter aggressive is to steal Bunny and make fun of him.

Burping Belinda

Burping Belinda is one of the main characters of "Gross Class Zero", one of Horrid Henry's favourite shows. She has light orange skin with light blue hair and eyebrows, wears a mint collar shirt, a purple uniform with orange lines, a green and white logo, an orange skirt, red and green socks and blue Mary Janes. She speaks in an American accent and is voiced by Tamsin Heatley.

C

Captain Push-Me-Button

Captain Push-Me-Button is a robot that appeared in "Horrid Henry: Aquarium". He gives tickets to the Dingy Dungeon. It is thought that he was not put together properly as he has some technical malfunctions. He is voiced by Wayne Forester, while his parrot is voiced by Sue Elliott-Nichols.

Caring Chris

Caring Chris works at the Old People's Home, where she is the senior carer. She has a good friendship with Miss Oddbod. She first appeared in "Horrid Henry and the Purple Walking Stick Gang", and makes a cameo in "Horrid Henry: Rockstar!". She is voiced by Sue Elliott-Nichols.

Cherry Berry

Cherry Berry is a famous pastry chef based on The Great British Bake Off judge, Mary Berry. Cherry was a judge in the street party in "Horrid Henry's Bake-Off".

Chirpy Cheryl

Chirpy Cheryl is a flight attendant who appears in "Horrid Henry: Up, Up and Away", where she brings food around on the plane.

Clever Clare

Clever Clare is the smartest girl in Horrid Henry's class in the books. She appears on the cover of Horrid Henry's Nits. In "Horrid Henry's Double Dare", she has to get all her spellings wrong. She only appears in the TV series as a minor character in an Ashton Primary school photograph in "Horrid Henry: Nothing But The Truth" as a member of Perfect Peter's class. She also appears in "Horrid Henry: It's All Your Fault" when she was singing with Sour Susan, Gorgeous Gurinder and Singing Soraya in the musical number, "Born To Be Rude". She is voiced by Joanna Ruiz in "Horrid Henry: Ace Reporter" and Sue Elliott-Nichols in "Horrid Henry and the Funny Bunny Hop".

Colin the Clown

Colin the Clown appears in "Horrid Henry: Happy Birthday Peter!", where he appears as the clown and entertainer of Peter's birthday party and is scared of lions, whom he had a bad circus experience with. He is able to blow handkerchiefs out of his nose, and make milk and a banana disappear. He has a "Box of Bewilderment". He also appears in the Series 3 episode, "Horrid Henry Goes to the Theatre", where he helps Henry's family find their way to the show and is revealed to be Great Aunt Greta's great nephew. He was voiced by Aidan Cook in "Horrid Henry: Happy Birthday Peter!" only.

Crabby Chris

Crabby Chris once babysat Horrid Henry but never came back after Henry hid her homework and spilt grapefruit juice on her jeans. She is only seen on a flashback in "Horrid Henry and the Bogey Babysitter". She is voiced by Emma Tate.

Cross Colin

Cross Colin appears in "Horrid Henry's Wedding" as the best man at Prissy Polly and Pimply Paul's wedding. He has a short temper and snaps at Perfect Peter when he shakes while holding the ring, before showing his bossy side by getting Horrid Henry to hold it.

Dad is the father of Henry and Peter. Like Mum, he has never trusted Henry to be well behaved. He also likes making Henry and Peter very healthy packed lunches. Peter often shows off to Dad by being well behaved while Henry misbehaves. Specifically, he punishes Henry by banning the TV and/or the computer, but mostly resorts to cancellation or reduction of pocket money; for example, when Henry refuses to come on a hike in "Horrid Henry's Hike", he starts deducting pocket money. He shows favouritism when it comes to Henry and Peter. He tends to believe the best of Peter and the worst of Henry as even if Henry was telling the truth, he will still dismiss it as "rubbish". When Peter misbehaves, he will find excuses for him; a good example being in "Perfect Peter's Horrid Day" when Peter sprays Henry with a hose deliberately, even chasing him around the garden, and he ended up telling Henry that he should have got out of the way when Peter was "watering the flowers". Although strict, he is much more tolerant and patient with Henry than Mum is by giving him second chances. Also, he is often shown to be capable of distracting Henry enough that he behaves. He has curly brown hair and wears an orange sweater and a blue jacket. Dad works as an office manager at Tingly Toothbrushes. His work boss is Big Bob, whom Dad does not seem to like as a friend, but he does take him seriously when it comes to working. In terms of the way he gets treated by Bob and Henry, Dad prefers Henry's treatment than Bob as he is very strict and stresses him out. It is revealed that "Gross Class Zero" was his favourite show when he was a boy. At the end of "Horrid Henry and the Silly Siblings", it is revealed that his nickname is "Silly Simon", and it is also implied that Henry gets his horrid streak from him, while Peter gets his goody-goody streak from Fussy Uncle Francis. Damian Drek

Damian Drek is Darius Drek's son. He is voiced by Philip Pope in Horrid Henry's Gross Day Out.

Darius Drek

Darius Drek (also known as Evil Emperor) is the main villain of "Gross Class Zero", one of Horrid Henry's favourite shows. He is one of the three main antagonists alongside Drusilla Drek and Damian Drek, his children, in Horrid Henry's Gross Day Out. He is voiced by Wayne Forester.

Deodoroids

The Deodoroids are giant blue robots who work under the leadership of Darius Drek in "Gross Class Zero".

Dippy Dora

Dippy Dora is a babysitter who only appears in "Horrid Henry and the Revenge of the Bogey Babysitter". It is said that when she babysat Moody Margaret, she spent the whole evening on her phone and did not notice when Margaret stayed up after midnight and ate all the ice cream in the freezer.

Dirty Dirk

Dirty Dirk is the host of the TV show "Hog House".

Dizzy Dave

Dizzy Dave is a boy in Henry's class who is always spinning around and knocking things over. He is shown to be one of Henry's close friends.

DJB

DJB is a rapper who appears in "Horrid Henry and the King of Bling". He makes Peter, Gordon, Ted and Sam "da man that can" on TV, much to Henry and Dad's shock. While it was not the program that got Peter punished, he revealed that he had purchased gear from the DJB store without permission, which makes Dad furious and ban Peter from using the TV for a week. Great Aunt Greta sent the DVD for teenagers. It seems as though he was personally paid by Great Aunt Greta to say nice and impressive things on the DVD to Peter and his friends. He is voiced by Bella Watts.

Dr. Bafington

Dr. Barfington is a scientist/inventor who appears in "Gross Class Zero". He is voiced by Aidan Cook.

Dr. Dettoll

Dr. Dettoll is a doctor who gives injections. She only appears at the end of "Horrid Henry's Injection". She is voiced by Joanna Ruiz.

Doddery Donald

Doddery Donald is Great Aunt Greta's brother who first appeared in "Horrid Henry Plays Air Guitar". He mostly only says "Donald". Nicknamed "Dancing Donald", he enjoys dancing and playing air guitar, much to Henry's surprise. He originally appeared as a background character in the episodes "Horrid Henry and the Dinner Guests", in a flashback along with Old Olive; "Horrid Henry's Horrid Heroes", where he asks Brainy Brian a question; "Horrid Henry and the Name Game". where he, along with Olive, votes for Perfect Peter's petition for Fifi to be named Tiddles; "Horrid Henry and the Killer Boy Rats", where he is seen in the audience, and "Horrid Henry: Rockstar!" at the Old People's Home. He is voiced by Wayne Forester.

Drusilla Drek

Drusilla Drek is Darius Drek's daughter. She is voiced by Tamsin Heatley in Horrid Henry's Gross Day Out.

E

Ed Banger

Ed Banger is a Norwegian musician and the lead singer in the Killer Boy Rats. He is named "King Killer" in "Horrid Henry: Up, Up and Away". In the episode "Horrid Henry and the Killer Boy Rats", Ed leaves the band and begins writing and singing "nice songs", much to Henry's ire and Peter's delight. After Henry gets up on stage during a concert and sings (loud and off-key) one of his Killer Boys Rats songs, his manager phones Henry and congratulates him. Henry is then given tickets to the next Killer Boy Rats concert. On TV, Ed says he is going back to being a Killer Boy Rats member and his manager explains that it was Henry inspired him to return to the music group. Henry and his family then go to the concert where the Killer Boy Rats sing a song ("Gonna Be a Rock Star") as a token of thanks and appreciation to Henry, who is on stage with them as a drummer. Ed bears a slight resemblance to Nikki Sixx, the bass player of the glam rock band Mötley Crüe. He is voiced by Aidan Cook (speaking voice) and Nick Blackman (singing voice). In Horrid Henry: Live and Horrid, he is portrayed by Phil Bosworth. In Horrid Henry: The Movie, he is portrayed by Noel Fielding.

Evil Eddy Edwards

Evil Eddy Edwards is a milkman who has a rivalry with Pimply Paul, as seen in "Horrid Henry Delivers the Milk".

Fang is Henry's loyal, vicious hamster. He often feuds with Fluffy, and has a helpful ear when Henry needs someone to talk to. He is an unusual hamster in which he is up in the day, sleeps in a bed, and is able to say, "Yeah, yeah, yeah!" He is also useful to Henry for when he plots revenge against an enemy. Fang acts like a dog and sniffs out the missing Fluffy in ""Horrid Henry: Where's Fluffy?". In another episode, Fang has a major role, when he goes missing. The family presumes that he died, and when Henry finds him a day later, he dresses Fang up as a poodle for him to pose for Peter's replacement pet. Sometimes he is mistaken for a rat, which is what Moody Margaret calls him. His vocal effects are provided by Tamsin Heatley. In "Horrid Henry and the Snotslimer Redemption", Fang is given a speaking role with an American accent, provided by Wayne Forester.

Farty Finola

Farty Finola is a girl who appears in "Horrid Henry: My Weird Family". Henry calls her Farty Finola because she farts a lot. Peter has a crush on her as he calls her a "fair lady". She makes a cameo appearance in "Horrid Henry's 3D Nightmare", where she is seen buying a Blue Gizmo. She speaks with an Irish accent, and is voiced by Wayne Forester.

Fearless Phantom

Fearless Phantom is a famous television superhero of whom Horrid Henry is a big fan. His real name is Daring Dan, while Fearless Phantom is his stage name. Ironically, he has a fear of spiders. He speaks with an American accent, provided by Wayne Forester.

Fiery Fiona

Fiery Fiona is a girl in Henry's class, who appears a few times in the books but never in the TV series. She is shown to have a fiery temper.

Fifi

Fifi is a female black kitten who appears in "Horrid Henry and the Name Game". She appears on Henry's doorstep, and he and Peter do not know what to call her. She finally gets her name at Margaret's house when she goes to live with her. Her vocal effects are provided by Tamsin Heatley.

Filthy Phil

Filthy Phil is a contestant on "Hog House", one of Horrid Henry's favourite television shows. He is stated to have kept something truly disgusting under his bed. The two Filthy Finalists, Mouldy Myra and Tornado Tariq, knock him out of the contest.

Fizz Whizz McTizz

Fizz Whizz McTizz is an American musician and a keyboardist in the Killer Boy Rats. Dressing in a goth rockstar fashion, Fizz Whizz has short black hair and wears heavy makeup. He was originally a male, had a British accent and was voiced by Aidan Cook in "Horrid Henry and the Killer Boy Rats", but was later changed to a female, spoke with an American accent, and was voiced by Sue Elliott-Nichols in "Horrid Henry and the Lucky Thing" and "Horrid Henry and the Hotel Horrid". Her singing voice for the song "Wanna Be Me!" in the latter episode is provided by Nick Blackman.

Fluffy is the family's grey cat, who feuds with Henry's hamster, Fang. She is incredibly lazy and, like other cats, normally eats, drinks, walks, and sleeps. She is shown in most episodes sitting by the sitting room window sill at night, using the TV remote during the night to switch to sunrise. In Series 4, she uses a tablet. Fluffy also gets dressed up as a mummy in "Horrid Henry and the Mummy's Curse". Like Peter, she seems to be spiteful towards Henry as she once framed him for eating several packets of a snack that Mum likes. Despite being female, she is sometimes referred to as a "he". Peter is completely devoted to her, and never believes that she does anything wrong, even though she started chasing Fang in one episode, and Peter said that Fang started the fight. Franky Fastfingers

Franky Fastfingers is a British musician and a guitarist in the Killer Boy Rats. Dressing in a rockstar costume, Franky has long rock star hair dyed into black and white stripes.

Fred Fartwell

Fred Fartwell is the main character of "Gross Class Zero", one of Horrid Henry's favourite shows. He is voiced by Wayne Forester and speaks in an American accent. In "Horrid Henry and the Green Machine", he is voiced by Joanna Ruiz and has a British accent.

Frosty Freeze Man

The Frosty Freeze Man is a man who works at Frosty Freeze. He appears in "Horrid Henry and the Abominable Snowman" in the book of the same name, and as the "Ice Cream Man" in "Horrid Henry and the Ice Cream Dream", "Horrid Henry and the Big Freeze Wheeze" and "Horrid Henry and the Perfect Panto" in the TV series. Frosty Steve

Frosty Steve is a man who works at Frosty Freeze. He appears to laugh at the end of everything he says, implying that he is a jolly man or he may have anxiety, or it could also be just a habit of his. Fussy Uncle Francis is Henry's uncle and Dad's younger brother. He has curly blonde hair which is similar to Peter's, just as Dad's hair is brown, like Henry's, although Dad also has curly hair. He wears a green jacket and orange tie. Francis appears in "Horrid Henry and the Silly Siblings". He is shown not to get on with Dad, as they argue often and this is also where a slightly childish aspect of Dad's personality is revealed. He is said to be fussy, as when he visits he inspects the staircase for dust when he comes in. At the end of the episode, he calls Dad "Silly Simon", which is presumably what he was called when he was a kid. It is also implied that Peter gets his goody-goody streak from him, while Henry gets his horrid streak from Dad. Francis also appears in "Horrid Henry and the Tongue Twisters", where he attends Peter's birthday party with the rest of the family relatives. Gorgeous Gurinder is a beautiful and vain Indian-British girl who appears to be best friends with Singing Soraya and Lazy Linda. They are all members of the Secret Club. Gurinder has three older brothers with three older sisters, and two younger brothers. In the later episodes, she also has a good knowledge of makeup products as she is seen teaching Henry how to put on hand cream. She is voiced by Joanna Ruiz. In Horrid Henry: The Movie, she is portrayed by Nikita Mistry.

Grandma

Grandma is Henry's and Peter's grandmother, and Mum's mother. She tends to be quite nice and sweet, and buys her grandchildren expensive presents. She appears in "Perfect Peter's Horrid Day" and "Horrid Henry's Bad Present". A character of the same name is only mentioned in the short "Horrid Henry and the Groovy Grandma". According to Mum, she used to play the ukulele, which she was quite bad at. She appeared to have had a good relationship with her sister Great Aunt Greta, and had raised Mum and Rich Aunt Ruby. Grandma also seemed to have been very fond of her grandson Henry, holding him in a family photograph. However, she sadly passed away when Henry was a toddler and Peter was a baby. This seems to have devastated Mum, and thinking about her made her cry. Unfortunately, Henry and Peter can't remember her, and so do not really have many memories of her, only being photographs. Henry did hear stories about Grandma though, suggesting that Mum told her children about their grandmother, and described her as a "groovy grandma".

Granny

Granny is Henry and Peter's grandmother, and Dad's mother. She only appears in "Horrid Henry's Christmas Lunch", and she is shown to be quite bossy towards Dad.

Grandpa

Grandpa is Henry and Peter's grandfather, and Dad's father. He only appears in "Horrid Henry's Christmas Lunch" when he visits Henry's family for Christmas lunch on Christmas Day.

Greasy Greta is the lady from the counter in the school cafeteria who is in charge of the packed lunch room. She first appeared in "Horrid Henry and the Demon Dinner Lady", where she is sent to look after the kids in the lunch room because they were always playing with their food. She always takes the children's treats and eats them, but runs away after eating hot chili powder biscuits that Henry brought in. In the TV series, she eats far too many treats and is wheeled out of the school on a trolley by Soggy Sid, saying that she is banning packed lunches and putting all students on school dinners. She returns in "Horrid Henry and the Revenge of the Demon Dinner Lady" from the book, Horrid Henry's Nightmare. This time she inspects lunch boxes to promote healthy eating. She has maroon-coloured hair and crimson-pink skin. She is fired on the spot when Miss Oddbod catches her in the cupboard eating the confiscated sweets that were supposed to be donated to charity. She is voiced by Sue Elliott-Nichols. In Horrid Henry: The Movie, she is portrayed by Jo Brand.

Great Aunt Greta

Great Aunt Greta is the great aunt of Horrid Henry. She thinks that Henry is a little girl called Henrietta (or Henny in "Horrid Henry's Underpants") and Peter is a teenager. This is reflected in the presents that she sends to the boys. Although Henry's parents have told her countless times that Henry is a boy and Peter is six, Greta refuses to believe this, and usually does not hear, most likely due to her having some form of dementia. Her dementia is such that she once cooked cat food for the boys and believed that Fluffy was a dog named Fido. She also mistook the time of day to be the middle of the night when in fact it was only half past five in the afternoon. She wears a light pink shirt with a white collar, a dark pink skirt, lavender shoes and a walking stick. She is voiced by Tamsin Heatley. In Horrid Henry: The Movie, she is portrayed by Prunella Scales and Angela Cook (body double).

Grumpy Greg is a flight attendant who only appears in the story "Horrid Henry: Up, Up and Away". He is always in a bad mood, and his catchphrase is "And make it snappy!"

Head of the Institute of Interglyco Genetics

The Head of the Institute of Interglyco Genetics is a minor character who originally appeared as a background character in "Horrid Henry Goes to Work", "Horrid Henry and the Football Fiend" and "Horrid Henry and the Killer Boy Rats". The Head first appeared in "Horrid Henry's Horrible Homework", where he is revealed to run the Institute of Interglyco Genetics and is a friend of Moody Margaret's dad. He explains the nature of his department's work to Margaret while Horrid Henry eavesdrops. He is aging man with grey hair and moustache, and wears a navy blue suit with a drab orange tie and a pair of small rimless spectacles. He speaks with an Australian or Kiwi accent and is voiced by Aidan Cook.

Helpful Hari

Helpful Hari is a boy who is invited to Peter's party in "Perfect Peter's Pirate Party".

Hercules

Hercules is Mr and Mrs Mossy's pet dog. He appears in "Horrid Henry and the Dinner Guests", where Fluffy chases him after Henry persuades her that he is a mouse; "Horrid Henry Meets B.B. Silver" and "Horrid Henry’s Top Ten Things". Hercules is a light brown Chihuahua with a red collar. He is ironically named after the Roman hero Hercules. Hoppy

Hoppy is a friendly, playful brown and white dog who belongs to local park attendant Parky. During the events of "Horrid Henry's Fun Run", Hoppy shows that he likes Henry but chases him during the race, making the boy think that he is being pursued by a leopard. This makes Henry run so fast that he wins the fun run. At the finish line, Henry screams that he is being attacked by a leopard, only to look down and see Hoppy licking his feet. His vocal effects are provided by Tamsin Heatley.

Horrid Henry is the main character of the series and is portrayed as a very determined and relentless young boy, similar to Dennis from The Beano's Dennis the Menace and Gnasher. He staunchly believes that life is unfair due to his age, so he fights against "the tyranny of adults", mostly anything children hate in a stereotypical view, from vegetables to school. Indeed, Henry's teachers, relatives, and babysitters in the series try their best to avoid him as they admittedly dislike his frequent antics. Even his parents argue over whose turn it is to look after him. Henry is often rude, selfish, impatient, hot-tempered, impulsive, arrogant, opinionated, and hardly ever learns from his mistakes, refusing to acknowledge them. Aside from his rudeness, he is also maliciously blunt, as seen when he calls his mother's boss, Mrs Mossy, what she calls her at work behind her back and is unafraid of telling people how much he hates them right to their faces. However, he is willing to act nice and collude with Margaret and even Peter, but only if it means he will get to have his own way. Most likely because of his young age, however, Henry can get frightened by talk of ghosts or monsters, and in "Horrid Henry's Injection", is revealed to have a fear of needles. He is also very imaginative, as he indulges in fantasies, usually transforming into terrifying creatures and attacking the source of his anger, and often has "Eureka moments" while the stories mention what he thinks is a "spectacularly wonderful idea". In every story, there is something Henry has to get or do (or occasionally avoid doing) and the ensuing chaos is the consequence of this overriding desire, although in Series 4, he is slightly less horrid, or more well behaved.

Whenever Henry thinks of a plan it is simply to get his own way, never to make trouble purely for its own sake. He is more often than not seen taking life very seriously and he sincerely believes in what he is doing, making him something of a complex character as well. It has also been further hinted that deep down, Henry never really means to be horrid, and only acts that way as a wanting to get attention and a need to feel good about himself, particularly when dealing with his younger brother Peter, implying that he has low self-esteem. He has a club called the Purple Hand Gang (a parody of the Black Hand Gang), with its headquarters being a fort hidden behind branches in Henry's back garden.

According to Francesca Simon, she got the idea for Horrid Henry when a friend asked her to write a story about a horrid child. She also wanted to write about sibling rivalry and families where one child was considered "perfect" and the other "horrid". Henry is voiced by Lizzie Waterworth-Santo in the TV series. In Horrid Henry: Live and Horrid!, he is portrayed by Steven Butler, Stephen McGill and Steven Tagg. In Horrid Henry: The Movie, he is portrayed by Theo Stevenson, Jack Ambrose (body double) and Minoo Meinen (stunt double).

Inky Ian is a boy in Henry's classroom. He only appears in the book version of "Horrid Henry and the Football Fiend" and "Horrid Henry's Chicken". According to Francesca Simon, Ian was based on a young Ian Rankin, the author of the Inspector Rebus series.

Jazzy Jim

Kidswap Presenter

The Kidswap Presenter is the host of the game show "Kidswap". He appears in "Horrid Henry on TV" and "Horrid Henry and the Pet Show", where he also judges the pet show. He is voiced by Aidan Cook in "Horrid Henry on TV" and Wayne Forester in "Horrid Henry and the Pet Show".

Killer Boy Rats

The Killer Boy Rats are a Norwegian-American rock band formed in 2000. One of their most devoted fans is Horrid Henry. The band consists of lead singer Ed Banger, guitarists Franky Fastfingers and Angus Airbrain the Third, and keyboardist Fizz Whizz McTizz. Temporary members include guitarist Ziggy on one album and Henry himself on the drums.

Kind Kasim

Kind Kasim is a minor character and a student of Middle Eastern descent in Henry's class in the books. He dislikes Henry's behaviour. In the story "Perfect Peter's Revenge", he warned Henry to stop being so horrid or he would teach him a lesson that he would never forget. In "Horrid Henry's Arch Enemy", he volunteers to give Bossy Bill a tour of the school.

Kind Kelly

Kind Kelly is a girl in Peter's class. She appears in an Ashton Primary school photograph in "Horrid Henry: Nothing But the Truth", and is mentioned in "Horrid Henry and the King of Bling", where Henry says that she let him borrow her mobile phone. She appears in several episodes as a background character, albeit with a different colour scheme (blonde hair, sea-green jumper with a pocket instead of a heart logo, and blue trainers), including "Horrid Henry: Eternal Schoolboy", "Horrid Henry: Anything You Can Do", and most notably "Horrid Henry Goes to the Park". She is voiced by Emma Tate in "Horrid Henry: Anything You Can Do" and Sue Elliott-Nichols in "Horrid Henry Goes to the Park".

Kind Kelly's Dad

Mad Martin

Mad Martin is a teenager who babysits Henry and Peter. He first appeared during a flashback in "Horrid Henry and the Bogey Babysitter" as one of the several babysitters driven away by Henry. In "Horrid Henry Alone at Home", when Mum calls him to babysit Henry, he rejects the offer. In Series 5, Martin not only seems to gain a lot more appearances in episodes, but also seems to have a more positive outlook on Henry and now babysits him and Peter whenever Mum and Dad are going out. Most often he walks in the house with Mum trying in vain at times to communicate with him regarding instruction on how take care of Peter and Henry, and immediately sits on the living room armchair and stays there listening to music on his headphones until the parents come back, after which he subsequently leaves the house without a word. He is voiced by Aidan Cook in "Horrid Henry and the Bogey Babysitter".

Maggie

Maggie is the presenter of one of Peter's favourite TV shows, "Manners with Maggie", which was one of Henry's least favourite shows. The show stopped airing and was replaced with "Michief with Mildred" after Maggie was dragged off the set screaming following her reaction to Henry's terrible manners.

Marvin the Maniac is the presenter of one of Henry's favourite TV shows, "Gross-Out". He invites Henry to appear on the show after he wrote to him. He eventually appeared on underpants separate to Henry's old "Gross-Out" pants.

Megaphone Meg is a girl in Henry's class in the books who is always shouting. She is only mentioned in "Horrid Henry Tells It Like It Is" in the book "Horrid Henry's Krazy Ketchup".

Mellow Martin

Mellow Martin is a character who was mentioned in the "Horrid Henry and the Bogey Babysitter", where he says that he is busy when Mum asks him to babysit Henry.

Milksop Miles

Milksop Miles is the author of Peter's favourite book, "The Happy Nappy". He is Henry's least favourite writer and only appears in "Horrid Henry's Author Visit".

Mini Minnie

Mini Minnie is a girl in Peter's class. She is invited to Peter's party in "Perfect Peter's Pirate Party". She also appears in "Horrid Henry and the Zoom of Doom", where she is revealed to have twin sisters who all share her name.

Mischievous Mike

Mischievous Mike is one of Horrid Henry's friends who loves planes. He first appeared in "Horrid Henry Goes Fishing". Henry once borrowed his yellow plane in "Horrid Henry and the Perfect Plane", but Stuck-Up Steve crashed it, and it made Mike very upset. He also appears in the episodes "Horrid Henry's Horrible Homework", "Horrid Henry and the Terrible Teacher", "Horrid Henry Flicks the Bogey", "Horrid Henry Goes on Strike" and "Horrid Henry's Class Action". All episodes reveal that he is a part-time student attending Ashton Primary School, as he is seen doing his paper round during school hours. He is voiced by Aidan Cook.

Miss Boudicca Battle-Axe is a strict, sadistic Scottish teacher and the secondary antagonist. She teaches Horrid Henry, and many of his classmates such as Rude Ralph, Moody Margaret and Sour Susan. She seems to have a particular disliking towards Henry, usually due to his horrid behaviour which disrupts her class. She once said that Henry's class was the worst she ever taught in "Horrid Henry's Class Project". Her mother, Mother Battle-Axe, appears in a few episodes, where she disciplines her daughter greatly. She has grey hair and wears pointy glasses, a green cardigan, pale chartreuse top, brown skirt, and brown stockings. In "Horrid Henry Delivers a Message", it is shown that Miss Battle-Axe secretly has a crush on Soggy Sid. Despite hating Henry's class, it is apparent that Miss Battle-Axe is tough enough to survive teaching it, as all of Henry's teachers prior to her are mentioned to have quit because of him. In the Searies 4 episode "Horrid Henry's Movie Moments", it is revealed she has an identical twin sister who is also called Miss Battle-Axe but is the Headmistress of Our Lady Giddiantus Private School and talks with a posh English Received Pronunciation accent. However, in Horrid Henry: The Movie, the Headmistress of Our Lady Giddiantus is named as "Miss Dinesta Clutterbuck" on the sign outside.

Miss Battle-Axe is voiced by Aidan Cook in the TV series. In Horrid Henry: Live and Horrid!, she is portrayed by Philip Bosworth. In Horrid Henry: The Movie, she is portrayed by Anjelica Huston.

Miss Clutterbuck

Miss Clutterbuck is a school teacher who appears in "Gross Class Zero". Her hairdo and physical design bears a strong resemblance to that of Princess Leia from Star Wars. She is voiced by Emma Tate.

Miss Impatience Tutu/Madame Tutu

Miss Impatience Tutu is a dance teacher who first appeared in "Horrid Henry's Dance Class". As her name suggests, she is very mean and impatient. Despite this, she describes herself as a patient woman. No-one has ever seen her smile. She is said to hate teaching, noise, children, and most of all, Horrid Henry. In the TV series, she is referred to as "Madame Tutu" and speaks with a French accent when talking to her class, but speaks with an English accent when talking to Henry individually. She seems to be a lot nicer in the TV series than in the books. She has blonde hair in a bun and wears a black leotard over a pale pink jumpsuit. She organises the show "I Hear Thunder" in "Horrid Henry's Dance Class". She is voiced by Emma Tate. In Horrid Henry: The Movie, she is portrayed by Tamsin Heatley.

Miss Lovely

Miss Lydia Lovely is Peter's teacher. As her name suggests, she has a gentle nature. She is very proud of Peter's progress and behaviour and is always saying nice things about him to his parents. However, on some odd occasions (such as when Peter hands in a "Why I Hate My Teacher" essay, which he wrote as "Why I Love My Teacher", which Henry edited the night before) she has lost her temper. She is often seen in the library on duty when she is in the reading area. During early seasons, Miss Lovely spoke with an Indian accent. However, later on in the series, she speaks with a Welsh accent. She often uses the word "lovely". She is voiced by Joanna Ruiz. In Horrid Henry: The Movie, she is portrayed by Parminder Nagra.

Miss Thumper

Moody Margaret is a girl who is portrayed as the primary main antagonist in the Horrid Henry franchise, and serves as Horrid Henry's competitive arch-enemy and next-door neighbour. She is very bossy and domineering, and is capable of releasing violent, piercing screams when her demands remain unfulfilled, as shown in "Horrid Henry and Moody Margaret" and "Moody Margaret Moves In". Her parents spoil her and let her do anything that she wants. Margaret has a tendency to gloat about her various accomplishments in a ridiculously narcissistic fashion, looking down on others and domineering her friends and peers. True to this, she is resented by her best friend Sour Susan because of her rudeness, but Susan seems to have no other choice than to reluctantly obey Margaret's constant commands. Margaret viciously domineers the Secret Club in various plots formulated against Henry's corresponding Purple Hang Gang. In "Perfect Peter's Revenge", she is happy when Peter sends her a forged letter saying that Henry loves and wants to marry her, but aside from their intense rivalry, it is unknown if Margaret truly has a crush on Henry or not. Margaret, however, occasionally assists Henry in his plans, as seen in "Horrid Henry's Horrid Revenge" and "Horrid Henry and the Big Dig", though under the word of being the leader of the Purple Hand Gang, it is unknown how long it will be. In "Horrid Henry: Rockstar!", it is suggested that her full name is Margaret Millicent Maudita Smythe, which she also uses in subsequent episodes. However, she denies this when Rude Ralph asks her if this is true. Despite being a bit of a bully, Margaret is friends with most of the girls in her class, and is the Queen Bee of the school. Margaret is also very vain. She frequently fusses over her appearance and always tries to outshine her friends in fashion and toys. She is also quite athletic and loves to play football. Margaret is not shown to do particularly well in school, and Miss Battle-Axe appears to not have much faith in her. However, Margaret is very cunning and calculating. All of her bad traits may stem from her being insecure, as hinted in "Horrid Henry: How to be Horrid".

While Francesca Simon was in the process of creating Moody Margaret, she suggested a boy called Moody Martin, but her husband Martin Stamp did not approve of the idea as he thought that Moody Martin was too similar to Horrid Henry, the main character. Therefore, Simon made him a girl instead, and his name was changed into Moody Margaret. Simon stated in an interview that Margaret was based on herself at a young age and how she imagined Margaret Thatcher to have been as a child. Her password for the Secret Club, "nunga", was one of Simon's son Joshua Stamp's (b. August 1989) favourite nonsense words. She has auburn hair worn in a ponytail and wears a violet tank top with white stripes, green cardigan and a bottle-green skirt.

Margaret is voiced by Sue Elliott-Nichols in the TV series. In Horrid Henry: Live and Horrid!, she is portrayed by Rachael Swift. In Horrid Henry: The Movie, she is portrayed by Scarlett Stitt and Georgia Sitwell (body double).

Mother Battle-Axe

Mother Battle-Axe (known in the books as Mrs Battle-Axe) is Miss Battle Axe's mother. She disciplines her daughter greatly and is a nice, old woman who likes Henry, in a sharp contrast to her daughter's meanness and dislike of him. She is voiced by Aidan Cook.

Mouldy Myra

Mouldy Myra is a contestant in "Hog House", a favourite show of Horrid Henry's. She was so disgusting that she kept a whole cupboard full of rubbish. She made it to the show's Filthy Final, along with Tornado Tariq, but the grand winner was never announced.

Mr Kill

Mr Kill is Henry's stuffed teddy bear. Henry genuinely cares about it, as shown in "Horrid Henry: Who Stole Mr Kill?". In "Horrid Henry Plays Air Guitar", it is revealed that Mr Kill is sentient. According to Francesca Simon, Mr Kill got his name when one of her son Joshua Stamp's friends called his teddy "Mr Kill". She thought that was so funny that she stole the name.

Mr and Mrs Mossy

Mr and Mrs Mossy are characters who first appeared in "Horrid Henry and the Dinner Guests". Mr Mossy is Mum's boss, although sometimes Mrs Mossy is shown to be Mum's boss. Mr Mossy also appears in "Horrid Henry Changes a Nappy". At the start of "Horrid Henry and the Dinner Guests", Mr Mossy sabotages all of Henry's tricks. The Mossys appear to be of black descent, and Mr Mossy's first name is revealed to be Timothy in the TV series, although it is given as Reginald in the book. When Mr Mossy was a child, he was called "Terrible Timothy". Mr Mossy is voiced by Aidan Cook, and Mrs Mossy is voiced by Joanna Ruiz.

Mr and Mrs Smythe

Mr and Mrs Smythe are Moody Margaret's lenient parents who give her everything that her heart desires. Mrs Smythe has dark magenta hair while Mr Smythe has grey hair. They first appear in "Moody Margaret Moves In" when Margaret spends a week in Henry's home, but misbehaves and is punished. In "Horrid Henry on TV" Henry swaps houses with Margaret, but then gets kicked out because he sat on Mr Smythe's chair. Mrs Smythe is voiced by Sue Elliott-Nichols and Mr Smythe is voiced by Aidan Cook. In Horrid Henry: The Movie, Mr Smythe is portrayed by Philip Pope.

Mrs Crunch

Mrs Crunch is a tour guide who works at Our Town Museum. She also runs Camp Sunshine, and her name is Captain Crunch (similar to the American breakfast cereal Cap'n Crunch) when she is there. She is very stern and does not take kindly to Henry's horrid behaviour. However, in spite of that, she realises Henry's potential at Camp Sunshine, and seems to be proud of his performance when presenting him with an award, much to his surprise. She speaks in an upper class accent and is voiced by Joanna Ruiz.

Ms Tiddler, more commonly referred to as the Little Old Lady, is a pessimistic elderly lady who lives on the same street as Horrid Henry and Perfect Peter, and is their neighbour. It is unknown which house on the street she lives in. She dislikes children and cats. Ms Tiddler owns a dog called Tiddles. She dislikes Henry's family and always calls them, as well as anyone, everything and anything, horrid. She hates children and does not seem to care for other people, as shown that she lets her dog, Tiddles, pee on whoever he likes. Ms Tiddler is likely very lonely, and believes nobody likes her, which might explain her cruelty. In "Horrid Henry Meets Mr Tiddler", she has a twin sister (whose character design is reused for her in Series 5), a famous author who wrote Peter's favourite book, "The Story Of Mr Tiddler". She is voiced by Tamsin Heatley.

Mutant Max

Mutant Max is a character from one of Henry's favourite television shows, "Mutant Max". He is a large, musclebound mutant of some kind, although how he became this way has not been fully revealed. However in "Horrid Henry and the Walking Stick Gang", it is implied he was mutated from a gas as Henry stutters out in the comic. In the show, he battles a selection of villains in the far reaches of outer space. As of Series 4, "Mutant Max" has not made any notable appearances, presumably in favour of the more prominent "Gross Class Zero". He has pale, almost grey skin, is bald except for a few spiky hairs, and dresses in a pair of tattered blue dungarees. His most striking feature is his lower jaw, a spiked metal plate that attaches to his ears. He has various superpowers that he uses throughout his adventures. He speaks with an American accent and is voiced by Wayne Forester.

The Nasty Nibbler is Farty Finola's dog, who nibbles every bit of food. He only appears in "Horrid Henry: My Weird Family". His vocal effects are provided by Tamsin Heatley.

Nasty Nicola

Nasty Nicola is a girl who joins Henry's class in "Horrid Henry and the New Best Friend". She appears nice to begin with, but turns out to be nasty and vicious. Nitty Nora

Nitty Nora's only appearance is in the story "Horrid Henry's Nits", when she checks everyone's hair. She knows that everyone has nits except Horrid Henry. In Horrid Henry: The Movie, she is portrayed by Lizzie Waterworth-Santo.

Norwegian Norris

Norris is a Norwegian boy in Henry's class who appears in "Horrid Henry and the Revenge of the Demon Dinner Lady" and "Horrid Henry's Chicken". When there is a practice in the school that he does not like, such as the lunchbox inspections and taking names out of the hat to see who should look after the class chicken, he wails that it would not happen in Norway.

Nudie Foodie

Mr Nudie Foodie is a celebrity chef based on Jamie Oliver. In "Horrid Henry and the Nudie Foodie", he visits the school to improve school dinners. He is sent away after Henry adds extra ingredients to his pasta sauce to make it taste bad. His name is a parody on the BBC programme The Naked Chef.

Nurse Needle

Nurse Needle is a nurse who appears in "Horrid Henry's Injection". She tried to give Henry an injection, but Henry pretended to be sick and was sent home. She returns in "Horrid Henry and the Germy Germ". She speaks with a Yorkshire accent and is voiced by Tamsin Heatley.

Old Olive

Old Olive is a minor character who originally appeared as a background character in episodes such as "Horrid Henry and the Dinner Guests", in a flashback where she is revealed to be wearing a wig, and "Horrid Henry and the Name Game", where she, along with Doddery Donald, signs Peter's petition for Fifi to be named Tiddles. Olive first appeared in "Horrid Henry and the Walking Stick Gang", where she gives Moody Margaret a tour around the building. She also makes a cameo appearance in "Horrid Henry: Rockstar!". Parky

Parky is the owner at Henry's local park and appears to be somewhat lazy when it comes to actually doing any work, preferring instead to sit around and drink tea. He is Mischievous Mike's father and has a dog named Hoppy. He is voiced by Wayne Forester.

Pasty Patsy

Pasty Patsy is the daughter of Greasy Greta. She appears in "Horrid Henry and the Revenge of the Demon Dinner Lady". When Henry asks her why she does not get her lunchbox inspected, she replies that she is Greta's daughter, and she can have what she wants, much to Henry's surprise. She then opens her lunchbox and eats some sweets and treats while Henry's mouth waters. She has stringy hair and marshmallow cheeks.

Perfect Peter is Henry's perfect younger brother. He is often referred to as a "worm" by Henry. Peter has a very effeminate attitude, in which he likes flowers much like Walter the Softy in The Beano's Dennis the Menace and Gnasher, believes in fairy tales, and is known to always do as he is told and treat others with respect. On several occasions, however, he has revealed that he is, in reality, very whiny and spoiled. It is obvious that Peter likes to get back at Henry with the help of his parents, and he always emotionally bribes them (e.g.: "You're the best mum in the world!"), resulting in his parents favouring him. More often than not, Henry gets into trouble as a result of Peter telling Mum or Dad when he has done something wrong, usually with the phrases "Mum/Dad! Henry's being horrid/mean to me!" or "Mum/Dad! Henry called me a worm/a toad/told me to shut up!", and he even blames Henry for the most minor offences and things that he has not even done. More comically, Peter expects praise for even the most minor things, such as "being normal", using his fork and knife, and asking politely, and often shows off how good he is, particularly when Henry is being reprimanded for his wild misbehaviour.

Peter can also be desperate for praise and attention; he gets his toys out just to tidy them again in "Horrid Henry Joins the Best Boys Club". In the same episode, it is hinted he sees the other members of the Best Boys Club as underlings rather than actual friends as he immediately refuses Gordon's suggestion of taking turns to decide things. This suggests that he only acts perfect because he gets praised. At times, he tries to take credit for Henry's rare good deeds, as shown in episodes such as "Horrid Henry's Perfect Day" and "Horrid Henry: Horrid Headmaster". In the latter episode, he records what Henry says when he discovers that he has to fill end of term reports ("No holiday for me, then."), then modifies it into "No holiday!", causing the students to rebel. Peter seldom defies orders or complains about said orders, though as the series progresses, he indeed does defy adults or rules in revenge against Henry or while attempting to frame him, and he derives pleasure from Henry's suffering and punishments for his wild misbehaviour, implying that he may actually worse than his brother. Despite all this, Henry will still help Peter out on occasion, such as rescuing him from a falling shelf in the cellar in "Horrid Henry: Trapped!".

The inspiration for Peter came when Francesca Simon wanted to write about sibling rivalry and families where one child was considered "perfect" and the other "horrid". Peter is voiced by Emma Tate in the TV series. In Horrid Henry: Live and Horrid!, he is portrayed by Alex Tregear. In Horrid Henry: The Movie, he is portrayed by Ross Marron and Alex Larder (body double).

Pimply Paul is Prissy Polly's husband, who lives in a world of self pity and misery. They get married in "Horrid Henry's Wedding", and later have a baby daughter, Vomiting Vera, as shown in "Horrid Henry's Car Journey". "Horrid Henry's Wedding" reveals that his surname is Peregrine. Polly Penelope (also known as Prissy Polly) is Henry and Peter's older cousin and Pimply Paul's wife. They get married in "Horrid Henry's Wedding", and together they have a daughter, Vomiting Vera. Polly is an emotional, fussy, spoiled, childish, ditzy, nagging young woman who wants everything to be her way all the time and throws it off. She usually appears smiling, giggling hysterically, and is not very bright. Despite her selfish and spoiled ways, she does not mean to behave this way and is sweet-natured, if not the closest thing to an relentless happy-go-lucky optimist. In the TV series, she appears to be much more spoiled and childish and a bit meaner than in the books and also has fits of anger, usually around Henry. Polly and Henry both despise each other because of this. Strangely, even when she is outraged, she appears to be smiling and giggling. When things do not go her way, she would even cry about it. The Queen first appeared in "Horrid Henry Meets the Queen", where she visits Ashton Primary School. She also appears in "Horrid Henry's Hobby" and "Horrid Henry's Sports Day" in Henry's imagination, and in the queue at the post office in "Horrid Henry and the Catastrophic Cushion", and is mentioned in "Horrid Henry and the Name Game". She is based on Queen Elizabeth II, who ruled the Commonwealth of Nations from 1952 to her death in 2022. Rancid Rachel is Rabid Rebecca's best friend. She is even meaner than Rebecca and is scared of nothing at all. She only appears in the story "Horrid Henry and the Revenge of the Bogey Babysitter", where she accompanies Rebecca in babysitting Henry and Ralph, but they scare them away with a suit on a piece of string.

Rancid Robbie

Rancid Robbie is a character in "Gross Class Zero", one of Horrid Henry's favourite shows. He appears in "Horrid Henry Goes Gross", as an ally to Gross Class Zero, but is was revealed to be a traitor who tipped SIC off of their whereabouts. Roly Mo is a fictional character from Fimbles, later getting his own spin-off, The Roly Mo Show. As the shows that the character appears in are also produced by Novel Entertainment, he has been mentioned or referenced many times throughout the Horrid Henry TV series. Rude Ralph is Horrid Henry's best friend, who lives the life of luxury that Henry dreams of having. Slimy Sammy (initially known as Super Sammy) is Perfect Peter's so-called "pen pal" from France. He is the main antagonist in the episode "Horrid Henry: Perfect Peter's Pen Pal". He reveals to have also had other pen pals in the past who were friends with them, though he turned against them as well by stealing their toys and gets away with it. Mum stops him from escaping with Peter's stamps and sends Sammy back to his parents in disgrace. Sammy has brown hair and pale skin. Sloppy Sally

Smelly Sam is a character who appeared in "Horrid Henry Meets B.B. Silver". He appears in the queue to get B.B. Silver's autograph. Soggy Sid is Horrid Henry's swimming teacher and the school's PE teacher. Despite being known as Soggy Sid, he has only taught swimming in "Horrid Henry Goes Swimming", so his "soggy" sobriquet likely refers to him being something of a drip. He is also the detention supervisor and undertakes caretaking/cleaning duties in a few episodes. Sid is shown to be a strict, impatient no-nonsense teacher, dismissing Henry's excuses as to why he can't take part in the swimming lesson, and ordering him out of the pool when he misbehaves. He prefers to give orders than teach; instead of helping the students who are not strong swimmers to improve their swimming abilities, he just tells them to start swimming. Not many of the students seem to like him. In some episodes, it is implied that he has a crush on Miss Battle-Axe; in "Horrid Henry and the Miserable Musical", he has two tickets to see a musical and asks Miss Battle-Axe to go with him, and she happily accepts. Sour Susan is Moody Margaret's best friend. She is rude, a bit dense, sassy and immature, and likes to copy Margaret by saying, "Yeah, [whatever Margaret said]," when she insults people (mainly boys) such as Horrid Henry, Rude Ralph or even Perfect Peter. Margaret is often a bad friend to Susan, as they always have arguments. For example, in "Horrid Henry and the Football Fiend", she tries asking Margaret if she will take her to the Ashton Athletics match, and Margaret replies in an annoyed tone that she will take her. She always moans at Margaret when she thinks that she is being selfish and unfair. In "Horrid Henry's Stinkbomb", Susan is stated to hate Lazy Linda as she had not invited her to a sleepover. However, in "Moody Margaret’s Sleepover", Susan and Linda seem to get along fine, possibly having become friends. Susan has curly ginger hair and pale skin. In "Horrid Henry's Autobiography", he says that the story of his life is being a caveman. In "Horrid Henry Writes a Story", Miss Battle-Axe tells him to stop grunting. According to Francesca Simon, Steven was based on actor and writer Steven Butler, who portrayed Henry in Horrid Henry: Live and Horrid!.

Stuck-Up Steve is Horrid Henry's cousin. He is hated by Henry because he is rich, greedy and spoiled and refuses to share with his cousin, and Henry always knows that Steve does not look forward to seeing him either. His mother, Rich Aunt Ruby, buys him anything that he wants and loves to spoil him. However, she will discipline Steve when he is naughty or embarrasses her. Steve is also snobby and selfish as he makes fun of people who are poorer than him, as shown in "Horrid Henry's Christmas" when he exclaims, "What a dump!" while Henry's family are cleaning up. In "Horrid Henry's Christmas", Henry switches the labels on his and Steve's presents, allowing him to help himself to some presents intended for Steve while Steve gets presents intended for Henry, such as socks. In "Horrid Henry's Haunted House", Steve disallows Henry to play with his toys, so Henry convinces him that there is a monster under his bed. In "Horrid Henry Dines at Restaurant Le Posh" and "Horrid Henry Eats Out", Henry eats snails and tripe when Steve dared him to. In "Horrid Henry's Horrid Weekend", Henry is forced to spend a whole weekend with Steve and Bossy Bill. When they trick him into breaking his bed, Henry is banned from going to their friend Hoity-Toity Tim's paintballing party, but Henry tricks them into going in their pyjamas, leaving them humiliated. In "Horrid Henry and the Perfect Plane", Steve gets a taste of his own medicine when Parky catches him flying his toy plane in the park, and confiscates it from Steve and gives it to Mischievous Mike. In the Series 5 episode "Horrid Henry's Class Action", he faces Henry in the School Council election. Steve attends Brick House School, a school for rich kids, along with Bill and the Brick House Boys. He has pale skin and dark magenta hair. He wears light yellow trousers and green shoes. Super Sally is a character in the TV show "Manners with Maggie" in "Horrid Henry Minds His Manners". She works at the TV station.

Super Sue

Super Sue is a girl in Peter's class. She appears in an Ashton Primary school photograph in "Horrid Henry: Nothing But the Truth", and appears in several episodes as a background character, including "Horrid Henry: Eternal Schoolboy", "Horrid Henry: Anything You Can Do" and "Horrid Henry and the Awful Author". Sue has short, messy ginger hair tied into pigtails by green scrunchies and rosy cheeks. She wears a long sleeve white shirt, a red tie, a green waistcoat, a dark red, pleated skirt, short white socks, and purple toecap Mary Janes. She is named after Sue Elliott-Nichols, one of the voice actors in the series. She is voiced by Emma Tate in "Horrid Henry: Anything You Can Do".

Sweet Sally

Sweet Sally is a character who appeared in "Horrid Henry Meets B.B. Silver". He appears in the queue to get B.B. Silver's autograph. He later appears in "Horrid Henry and the Awful Author" at another book signing, getting the Awful Author's autograph. She is voiced by an uncredited Bella Whiteley, daughter of series producer Lucinda Whiteley.

T

T.J. Fizz

T.J. Fizz is Horrid Henry's favourite author and Perfect Peter's least favourite, as he mentions that her books are too scary. She only appears in "Horrid Henry's Author Visit". Miss Battle-Axe sends Henry off to Peter's class due to his horrid behaviour, where he gets stuck with Milksop Miles, his least favourite author. Her counterpart in the TV series is B.B. Silver.

Tell-Tale Tim

Tell-Tale Tim is one of Peter's friends. He is invited to Peter's party in "Perfect Peter's Pirate Party".

Tetchy Tess

Tetchy Tess is one of Horrid Henry's babysitters. After Henry floods the bathroom, she refuses to come back. She appears in "Horrid Henry and the Bogey Babysitter" and "Horrid Henry Goes to the Park". In the books, Tess is bad-tempered, while in the TV series, she is quite laid-back. She likes listening to music and as such does so on her earphone MP3 player, and does not like to be disturbed if so. She does not get her revenge on anyone and forgets about anything bad that has happened, as she accepts Henry's apology when he last saw her after he flooded the bathroom. Tess is later revealed to idolise Ed Banger, based on her reaction when seeing him (she faints). She speaks with a Mancunian accent and is voiced by Sue Elliott-Nichols.

Tidy Ted is one of Peter's friends and is a member of the Best Boys Club who is always tidy, hence his name. He is voiced by Tamsin Heatley in most of his appearances, save for "Horrid Henry Tricks and Treats" where he was voiced by Sue Elliott-Nichols, and "Horrid Henry's School Trip", where he was voiced by Aidan Cook. Tidy Ted's Dad

Tidy Ted's dad is a plumber. He first appeared in "Horrid Henry's Sick Day", where he tells Henry that he is turning off the water for a couple of hours. He later knocks on the door and tells Henry that the water has been turned back on, and tells him to make sure that the taps are off. Henry gets frustrated about people telling what to do, so he asked if there is anything else. Ted's dad decides to leave, telling Henry to have a nice day. He was mentioned in "Horrid Henry and the Best Boy's Club Sleepover", and makes a cameo appearance in "Horrid Henry's Teacher Talk". Ted's dad has brown hair and pale skin, and wears a yellow shirt with turquoise overalls. He is confirmed to be Ted's father as seen in the Horrid Henry Father's Day post. He is voiced by Aidan Cook.

Tiddles (dog)

Tiddles, more commonly referred to as the Dog That Wees, is a very poorly-trained dog who belongs to Ms Tiddler, the elderly neighbour of Horrid Henry. Ms Tiddler is an irresponsible owner who spoils Tiddles usually and lets him wee on Henry and several other people's legs. In Series 2-4, he has light brown fur and blue eyes, and wears an orange collar and a red dog coat, which his yellow lead is connected to, rather than his collar. In Series 5, Tiddles has white fur and brown eyes, and wears a pink collar and a purple coat, which is always connected to a pink lead when he and his Ms Tiddler are on walks. His vocal effects are provided by Tamsin Heatley.

Tiddles (cat)

Tiddles is Miss Oddbod's pet kitten. He first appeared in "Horrid Henry on Trial", where Perfect Peter finds him in Miss Oddbod's shed, which Henry's ball accidentally unlocked. When Henry claims that he found Tiddles, a trial is held in the school hall to determine what really happened. Tiddles also appears in "Horrid Henry: It's All Your Fault" and "Horrid Henry and the Terrible Teacher". His vocal effects are provided by Tamsin Heatley.

Toddler Tom

Toddler Tom is a toddler who is mentioned in the stories "Horrid Henry and the Bogey Babysitter", "Horrid Henry Wakes the Dead" and "Horrid Henry Rocks".

Tornado Tariq

Tornado Tariq is a contestant in "Hog House", one of Horrid Henry's favourite shows ever. He was so disgusting that his whole family had to move out of their home to get away from him. He makes it to the Filthy Finals, facing off against Mouldy Myra, but it is unknown who the ultimate winner was.

Tough Toby

Tough Toby is a boy in Henry's class who is often regarded as tough. He invited Henry to his party at Lazer Zap in "Horrid Henry's Birthday Party" in the books.

Tough Toby's Dad

Tough Toby's dad only appears in "Horrid Henry's Nits" when he complains about the letter sent home.

Timmy and Tommy

Timmy and Tommy are Perfect Peter's identical twin sons. They only appeared in "Horrid Henry Gets Married". They are voiced by Emma Tate.

V

Vain Violet

Vain Violet is a girl who appears in several of the books, but never in the TV series. She takes a lot of pride in her appearance, is friends with Moody Margaret, and enjoys makeovers. She appears in "Horrid Henry's Dance Class", "Perfect Peter's Revenge", "Horrid Henry and the Football Fiend", "Moody Margaret's Makeover", and "Moody Margaret's Sleepover".

Vicious Vicky

Vicious Vicky is Sour Susan's younger sister. She first appears in Horrid Henry: The Movie and in the Series 3 episode "Horrid Henry: Bogus Babysitter". In the film, she bites people for no reason. In the Series 2 episode "Horrid Henry Changes a Nappy", Susan mentions a baby sister whom she has to change her nappies, explaining her experience. In "Horrid Henry: Bogus Babysitter", after being thrown out by Moody Margaret, Vicky finds her way into Horrid Henry Henry's house and raids the kitchen. She does feel remorse for her actions and makes up for it by stealing Margaret's cutlass, and uses it to frame her. Henry is impressed by this after initially being afraid of her. However in her next appearance in "Horrid Henry: It's All Your Fault", she scares Henry away from the climbing frame in the school playground and also intimidates Wheely Walter. In "Horrid Henry and the Game Changer", Vicky helps Aerobic Al and Henry win the round by taking the big book out of the treehouse, and Al splats Margaret in Gross Goo as Susan snickers. She also appears in a flashback in "Horrid Henry's Girl Talk". Vicky has pale skin, short, red hair in two bunches with blue scrunchies, a snout-like nose, a pointy chin and freckles. She wears a blue T-shirt, dark blue leggings and flat, red trainers. She is portrayed by Kia Pegg in Horrid Henry: The Movie, and voiced by Sue Elliott-Nichols in the TV series.

Vic Van Wrinkle is the strict, fiery-tempered headmaster of Brick House School and the main antagonist in Horrid Henry: The Movie. He tries to close Ashton Primary School and send all the students to Brick House School so he can earn enough money to close all the schools in Ashton. Despite being the main antagonist, Wrinkle never comes face to face with Horrid Henry or has any form of interaction with him. Instead he relies on his subordinates, two school inspectors (portrayed by Metin and Timur Ahmet), to sabotage his efforts in order to close down Ashton Primary. Perfect Peter reveals his plan to Miss Oddbod over the phone, and thwarts his escape by tying his shoelaces once the police locate his whereabouts. Wrinkle falls out the window, and, along with the school inspectors, is arrested and sent to jail. Wrinkle is portrayed by Richard E. Grant. His last name and the fact he has African items in his office imply that like his actor, he is of Afrikaans descent.

Weepy William's Dad

Weepy William's dad is a newspaper reporter, and the most successful and famous journalist in Ashton, according to Moody Margaret. He is very nice and cares a lot about his son, and wishes him to be happy and not weepy. Unlike his wife and son, he does not appear to be that emotional or sensitive and seems to be more confident. He first appeared in "Horrid Henry on TV", where Moody Margaret switches to William's house and is bossy towards him and William's mum, and he sends her home. He also appears in "Horrid Henry, Ace Reporter", where he advises Henry and William on how to set up their newspaper. He is voiced by Lizzie Waterworth-Santo.

Weepy William's Mum

Weepy William's mum is a newspaper reporter. She first appeared in "Horrid Henry on TV", where Moody Margaret switches to William's house and is bossy towards her and William's dad. She later makes a cameo appearance in "Horrid Henry's Happy Family". In "Horrid Henry on TV", she appears to be very nice when she first meets Margaret. She also loves her son and playing Tiddlywinks. She now dislikes Margaret due to her bossiness and is aware that Margaret can be an enemy to her son. William's mum also is very sensitive as she cries a lot, just like her son. She is voiced by Wayne Forester.

Wicked Wanda

Wicked Wanda is a character in "Gross Class Zero", one of Horrid Henry's favourite shows.

Wheely Walter

Wheely Walter is a disabled science teacher at Ashton Primary School who uses a wheelchair. He is introduced in "Horrid Henry and the Climbing Frame Clincher", teaching science. His name is revealed in "Horrid Henry and the Movie Star" when he auditions for the part of a dead ringer for Lose Laser Larry, but is fired for being "too wheely". He appears to get along with Henry, unlike the other teachers, but still sends him along with Moody Margaret to Miss Oddbod's office when they argue in his class. In "Horrid Henry's Teacher Talk", he claims that Horrid Henry once turned the ceiling blue in his class while he was making a cup of tea, and does not know who Perfect Peter is when asked about him. He is voiced by Wayne Forester. In Horrid Henry: The Movie, he is portrayed by Grant Logan.

Wonderful Wayne

Wonderful Wayne is a boy in Peter's class. He appears in an Ashton Primary school photograph in "Horrid Henry: Nothing But the Truth", and appears in several episodes as a background character, such as "Horrid Henry: Eternal Schoolboy" and "Horrid Henry: Anything You Can Do". He is named after Wayne Forester, one of the voice actors in the series. He is voiced by Aidan Cook in "Horrid Henry: Anything You Can Do".

Wrinkly Ron

Wrinkly Ron is Rude Ralph's grandfather. He lives at the Old People's Home and leads the Purple Walking Stick Gang, but is the only remaining member. He first appeared in "Horrid Henry and the Walking Stick Gang", where he and Horrid Henry team up and defeats the rival gang, the Hush-Hush Sisters, who team up with Moody Margaret to get him and Henry in trouble with Caring Chris. He next appears in "Horrid Henry: Rockstar!", where he is revealed to be Ralph's grandfather. The Zero Zombies play a song called "Happy Guitar Month" to celebrate his birthday, but Margaret tries to spoil it by leading the Zero Zombies to play the wrong type of music and attempting to replace Henry in the band. Henry arrives just in time, as Ron uses his walking stick to stop Margaret. He makes a cameo appearance in "Horrid Henry Goes to the Park", where he is seen in the queue for Ed Banger's signing. He is voiced by Wayne Forester.

Yellow Duck

Yellow Duck is a rubber duck who was first seen in "Horrid Henry's Bathtime".

Yugo and Migo

Yugo and Migo are characters from The Roly Mo Show, another show that Novel Entertainment produced. They appear in "Horrid Henry's Birthday Bonanza" as party entertainers, where they join in with the song "It's Your Birthday, Today". They are voiced by Aidan Cook (Yugo) and Wayne Forester (Migo).

Z

Zac Zitface

Zac Zitface is one of the main characters of "Gross Class Zero", one of Horrid Henry's favourite shows. He has lavender skin with yellow hair, wears a purple cap, a purple jumper with a green shirt, purple pants, purple shoes, and green socks, and has a bogey hanging from his nose. He is voiced by Philip Pope.

Zippy Zoe

Zippy Zoey is a girl who is very fast. She appears in "Horrid Henry's School Election", "Horrid Henry Wakes the Dead", and "Horrid Henry Tells It Like It Is".
