Rakul Preet Singh is an Indian Actress who works in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil films. Rakul has received various accolades. Rakul has won 1 South Indian International Movie Award, 4 Filmfare Awards South nominations, and 1 Sakshi Excellence Award. Rakul has also won one CineMAA Award and two TSR-TV9 National Film Awards in addition one Producers Guild Film Awards and one Zee Cine Awards nominations each.
Rakul made her screen debut with Kannada film Gilli in 2009. She had made her Telugu and Tamil debut with a supporting role in a bilingual film Keratam in 2011 after graduating college and fifth placed Femina Miss India of 2011 as well five more titles she had won. She had made Tamil lead role debut with action thriller film Thadaiyara Thaakka. Her breakthrough role was her Telugu lead role debut comedy drama Venakatadri Express and was nominated for Filmfare Award for Best Telugu Actress.[1]
