Madhvi Madhukar (born 2 November[year needed])[1] is a Sanskrit singer known for lending her mellifluous voice to verses of Adi Shankaracharya. Apart from Sanskrit, she also sings folk songs in different Indian languages such as Maithili and Hindi.[2][3][4] She has a band named Madhuram Vrind.[5][6]

Early life[edit]

Madhvi was born and brought up in Bhagalpur, Bihar. Since childhood, she was interested in music. She completed her education from Bhagalpur. Her in-laws are from Godda, Jharkhand.[7][8]
