Makayla Couture is the stage name of Makayla Walker,[1] a Canadian drag queen who competed on the second season of Call Me Mother and will compete on the fifth season of Canada's Drag Race.
Career
[edit]Makayla Couture made her first television appearance in 2021 as a special guest for competition series Canada's Drag Race, where she partook in a makeover challenge alongside her "drag mother" Icesis Couture, who later won the second season.[2] Makayla Couture had previously performed at some local drag shows in Toronto as Makayla Walker Louboutin,[3] before changing her name upon being adopted into Icesis Couture's drag family.
Makayla Couture later competed in the second season of Call Me Mother, and was adopted into the House of Dulcet formed by American drag queen Peppermint. Over the course of the season, Makayla Couture won one challenge,[4] and finished the season as a Top 4 finalist.
Makayla Couture is competing on the fifth season of Canada's Drag Race.[5]
