Mark Wilson (born 1984) is a Northern Irish lawn bowler.
Bowls career
[edit]Wilson is a three time National Champion, winning a singles and two pairs titles at the Irish National Bowls Championships.[1][3] In 2017, he won three medals at the European Bowls Championships, he had previously won a bronze in 2013 at the Championships.[4]
In 2019, he won the fours bronze medal at the Atlantic Bowls Championships[5] and in 2020 he was selected for the 2020 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Australia but the event was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[6][1]
In 2022, he won a triples gold at the European Bowls Championships.[7] In 2023, he won the gold medal in the singles at the Hong Kong International Bowls Classic.[8][9] Wilson won gold in the fours and bronze in the triples at the 2024 European Bowls Championships.[10]
