Marko Asell (born 8 May 1970 in Ylöjärvi) is a Finnish wrestler and Olympic medalist in Greco-Roman wrestling. He is also a politician, serving as a member of Finnish Parliament first for the 2007–2011 term, and again for the 2019–2023 and 2023–2027 terms.[1]

Olympics[edit]

Asell competed at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta where he won a silver medal in Greco-Roman wrestling, the welterweight class.[2] He also competed at the 2000 Summer Olympics.[3]
