[edit]

Replace the contents of the page with the following:

<strong>WARNING:</strong>

This is to match MediaWiki:Protectedpagewarning and to address the issue at Wikipedia talk:Template editor#Housekeeping. Jackmcbarn (talk) 22:56, 8 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Consider changing administrative rights to administrative rights. — Andy W. (talk ·ctb) 03:37, 14 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

June 2017 edit request

[edit]

In 2006 the wording of the sister page MediaWiki:Protectedpagewarning was changed from "locked" to "protected."

Since then, Protectedpage warning has settled on a boilerplate. It would be good if the two could move toward the middle.

I advise changing two lines as follows:

|templateeditor = This page has been protected so that only users with administrative or template-editor rights can move it.

|#default = This page has been protected so that only users with administrative rights can move it.

Please replace with , as suggested at WP:VPT#Cannot move page that has template-protection for its move protection. GeoffreyT2000 (talk, contribs) 15:02, 9 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

+

Request

Please revert the September 2017 edit requested above. It seems that the FULLPAGENAME used to produce Special:MovePage/Old title during moves, so was used to remove the beginning of the title. Currently, however, FULLPAGENAME instead gives Old title.

Issue

For example, at Special:MovePage/Wikipedia:Template_editor/sandbox, it says that "This page has been protected so that only users with administrator rights can move it" because sandbox is sysop-move protected, whereas it should say "This page has been protected so that only users with administrator or template-editor rights can move it" because Wikipedia:Template editor/sandbox is template-move protected. This bug only affects protected subpages, since on any other page evaluates to .
