Description

[edit]

The codex contains entire of the New Testament, on 410 parchment leaves (size 18.0 cm by 12.5 cm).[3] The text is written in one column per page, 33 lines per page.[3][4] The leaves are arranged in octavo. It contains liturgical books with hagiographies (Menologion and Synaxarion) to the Gospels and to the Book of Acts.[5] It contains lectionary markings at the margin for liturgical use and pictures.[2]

Text

[edit]

The Greek text of the codex is a representative of the Byzantine. Hermann von Soden classified it to the textual family Kx.[6] Kurt Aland did not place it in any Category.[7] According to the Claremont Profile Method it belongs to the textual family Kx in Luke 1 and Luke 20. In Luke 10 no profile was made.[6]

History

[edit]
View on the monastery Dionysiou

The manuscript was dated by Gregory to the 13th century.[5] Currently it is dated by the INTF to the 14th century.[3][4] The codex 935 was seen by Gregory at the Dionysiou monastery (27), in Mount Athos.[5] Currently the manuscript is housed at the Dionysiou monastery (141 (27)) in Athos.[3][4]

The manuscript was added to the list of New Testament manuscripts by C. R. Gregory (935e).[5] It was not on the Scrivener's list, but it was added to this list by Edward Miller in the 4th edition of A Plain Introduction to the Criticism of the New Testament.[8]

It was collated by Herman Charles Hoskier in Apocalypse.[9]

It is not cited in critical editions of the Greek New Testament (UBS4,[10] NA28[11]).
