Nangang River

Nangang River(Traditional Chinese:南港溪)is located in Miaoli County, Taiwan.[1] It is a tributary of the Zhonggang River,[2] which is under central management. The river basin includes Zaoqiao Township,[3] Zhunan Township,[4] Toufen City,[5] Sanwan Township,[6] Nanzhuang Township,[7] and Shitan Township[8] in Miaoli County. Nangang River originates from the southwestern slope of Shenzhuo Mountain [9] at an elevation of 762 metres (2,500 ft) [10] in Baishou Village,[11] Shitan Township. It flows north to Dahedi[12] in Sanwan Township, then turns southwest to Nanpingjiao[13] It flows into Zhonggang River at Tanwen.[14] The river is 28.89 kilometres (17.95 mi) long, with a basin area of 69.5 square kilometres (26.8 sq mi).[15]
