The northern masked weaver (Ploceus taeniopterus) is a species of bird in the family Ploceidae. It is found in Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Sudan. All recent sightings in East Africa have been on the shores of Lake Baringo, Kenya.
