Onlymyhealth is an Indian health and wellness website headquartered in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.[1] It was launched in 2009 and operates as a subsidiary of Jagran New Media,[2][3] which is part of Jagran Prakashan Limited—a publicly listed media conglomerate involved in print, radio, and digital media.[4]

Overview

[edit]

Onlymyhealth provides information on various health topics, medical updates, and wellness advice.[5] The content covers disease management, fitness, home remedies, skin and hair care, Ayurveda, pregnancy, and parenting.[6][7] The platform provides articles and videos in Hindi, English and Tamil. A Tamil section was added in August 2023.[8] In April 2024, the site recorded a 35% increase in traffic in the health segment.[9][10][11]

The platform also established the HealthCare Heroes Conclave & Awards to recognize individuals in the healthcare sector.[12] The first edition was held on October 8, 2020, and honored those involved in the response to COVID-19, with Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan presenting the awards.[13] The fourth edition took place in February 2024.[14]

Initiatives

[edit]

In collaboration with HerZindagi, Onlymyhealth organized a Period Party ahead of Menstrual Hygiene Day in 2023. The campaign aimed to raise awareness about menstrual hygiene management and address menstruation-related taboos.[15]

Awards and recognition

[edit]

In 2019, the website was recognized with the 'Best Health Awareness' award at the Indian Healthcare Excellence Awards and the 'Best Content in a Healthcare/Fitness Blog/Website' award at the ICL 2019 - India Content Leadership Awards and Conference.[15]
