Palestine Polytechnic University (PPU; Arabic: جامعة بوليتكنك فلسطين) is a university located in Hebron, West Bank, Palestine. The school was founded in 1978 by the University Graduates Union (UGU).[1]
PPU has five colleges: College of Engineering, College of Information Technology and Computer Engineering, College of Applied Science, College of Administrative Science and Informatics and College of Applied Professions.[1]
History
[edit]It was established by the University Graduates Union in 1978, as Hebron Polytechnic.
- In 2013 it became the first entrepreneurial university
- In 2017 it received the Turino Process Award for Entrepreneurship and Innovation
- In 2018 it established the college of Medicine and Heath Sciences
