Ethnicity[edit]

The Panadura Polling Division has a Sinhalese majority (84.6%) and a significant Moor population (14.1%) . In comparison, the Kalutara Electoral District (which contains the Panadura Polling Division) has a Sinhalese majority (86.8%) [1]

The Panadura Polling Division has a Buddhist majority (78.6%) and a significant Muslim population (14.4%) . In comparison, the Kalutara Electoral District (which contains the Panadura Polling Division) has a Buddhist majority (83.4%) [1]
