Paraembolides cannoni is a species of funnel-web spider in the Hexathelidae family. It is endemic to Australia. It was described in 1978 by Australian arachnologist Robert Raven.[1][2]
Distribution and habitat[edit]
The species occurs in south-eastern Queensland in open forest habitats. The type locality is the Lamington Plateau.[2]
Behaviour[edit]
The spiders are arboreal predators.[2]
