Paulina Nikolova née Kratseva is a retired Bulgarian rhythmic gymnast and coach. She was a double gold medalist at the World Championships.

Biography[edit]

Paulina was a member of the Bulgarian national senior group that won All-Around gold at the 1983 World Championships in Strasbourg.[1] Two years later the group retained the medal at the 1985 World Championships in Valladolid.[2][3]

After her retirement from the sport she had three children with former football player, who represented Bulgaria at the 1986 World Cup, Iliya Dyakov: Paola, Denis and Stiliana who is a successful rhythmic gymnast.[4][5] She currently lives with her family in Cairo, Egypt, where she and her daughter Paola work as rhythmic gymnastics coaches.[6][7]
