Welcome

[edit]

Welcome to the blues portal. This portal is intended to facilitate readers in the discovery of blues music and history. Our other goal is to bring to light articles that need attention and improve them. You are encouraged to contribute to this portal, but please limit it to items pertaining to the blues. While we recognize that the blues influenced and was influenced by R&B, soul, and rock, please remember there are portals dedicated to these genres. Like the blues, this portal is a seed, hopefully with the help from a multitude of Wikipedians, it will flourish. --Archaeolojae (talk) 02:53, 21 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I wonder

[edit]

I wonder is gary clark jr is a viable option for this page. Bobcqb (talk) 05:36, 29 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Bobcqb: This portal looks pretty dead to me as I have seen no action in a long time. User:Archaeolojae who seems to have done some work on it disappeared about 2 years ago. We could do with someone but you may not have enough editing experience to do the job but having watched some portals for some years I don't think there is much traffic toportals, so I doubt their importance, especially as there does not seem to be a Blues project to support it. You can always ask for help with a {{helpme}} template on your talk page (just as typed with the curly brackets) if you run into trouble. I would start editing articles first and then see how you go. Good luck. ww2censor (talk) 11:56, 29 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
