HELP![edit]

Hi, can anyone help me? I've just added a selected article for this month, and now just need to add it to the archive - but i don't get the set-up. Please help, adn explain it for other editors. Also, someone has added an october article, but, as yet, voting has not closed! So there is no article! Thanks, Bluegoblin 7 18:30, 25 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

News/Cats sections[edit]

I've done the categories. On my computer the portal looks horrid the titles for each section are att the bottom but i have a feeling thats my crappy work computer. Does anyone else have this prblem. Also what is the news section for. Is it to do with derbyshire, is it from wikinews or is it to with the project and portal. Dommc cas 12:11, 27 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Peak District Massacre[edit]

BBC News-Mass burial suggests massacre at Iron Age hill fort Something for Wikipedians to get their teeth into, perhaps? The site apparently dates from about 400BC and contains only females and youngsters, suggesting the males were taken as slaves Chevin (talk) 06:49, 18 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Notice from the Portals WikiProject[edit]

WikiProject Portals is back!

The project was rebooted and completely overhauled on April 17th, 2018. Its goals are to revitalize the entire portal system, make building and maintaining portals easier, support the ongoing improvement of portals and the editors dedicated to this, and design the portals of the future.

As of May 2nd, 2018, membership is at 60 editors, and growing. You are welcome to join us.

There are design initiatives for revitalizing the portals system as a whole, and for improving each component of portals. So far, 2 new dynamic components have been developed: Template:Transclude lead excerpt and Template:Transclude random excerpt.

Tools are provided for building and maintaining portals, including automated portals that update themselves in various ways.

And, if you are bored and would like something to occupy your mind, we have a wonderful task list.
