Qwynnterrio Cole (born May 27, 1999) is an American football strong safety for the St. Louis Battlehawks of the United Football League (UFL). He played college football for the Alcorn State Braves and the Louisville Cardinals.
Early life and high school[edit]
Cole, originally from Memphis, Tennessee, began playing football at the local East High School and then committed to play college football at Alcorn State University.[1]
College career[edit]
Cole won the conference title with the Braves in 2018[2] that especially in the 2019 season,[3] in which he played all the matches as a starter. In both seasons he was included in the lineup of the best players in the conference (First-Team All-SWAC).[4][5]
In the 2020 season, however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic which forced the Braves not to play some games, Cole was only able to train.[6]
In 2021, Cole had the option to enter the 2021 NFL draft but chose to stay in college football for another year[7] and transferred to the University of Louisville[8] with the Cardinals. In his only year at Louisville, Cole started every game of the season, recording a total of 86 tackles, 65 of which were solo, making him second on the team.[9]
In early 2022, Cole, having completed his college football career and eligible for the 2022 NFL draft, was invited to participate in the NFL Scouting Combine.[10]

Las Vegas Raiders[edit]
Cole was not selected in the 2022 NFL draft and signed an undrafted free agent with the Las Vegas Raiders on May 12, 2022,[14] choosing 42 as his jersey number.
On August 30, 2022, Cole did not return to the Raiders' active roster and was released.[15]
Seattle Sea Dragons[edit]
On November 17, 2022, Cole was drafted by the Seattle Sea Dragons of the XFL.[16] The Sea Dragons folded when the XFL and United States Football League merged to create the United Football League (UFL).[17]
St. Louis Battlehawks[edit]
On January 5, 2024, Cole was selected by the St. Louis Battlehawks during the 2024 UFL dispersal draft.[18]
