The Cabinet of Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council is the senior decision-making body of Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council. It is a body in place to support the Mayor, as well as the council leader, with day-to-day running of the council via the means of specialised delegation.
The current cabinet, led by Leader of the council, Councillor Alec Brown, was formed on May 25, 2023, after the 2023 Local Elections in Redcar and Cleveland, which saw Labour the largest party on the council, although short of an overall majority.[1]
