Return to Nepal Initiative

The Return to Nepal Initiative (also known as नेपाल फर्कौं महाअभियान)[1] is a global initiative established to help and inspire the Nepalese diaspora to return to Nepal. The main objective of this campaign is to connect like-minded individuals who are committed and interested in either returning to Nepal or contributing to Nepal from where they live.[2] The initiative aims to create an environment where Nepalese diaspora and other individuals can come together on a single platform, and create a support group. In addition, building a strong network could bring returnees together.[3] Therefore, the network will help in facing transition challenges and in other areas.[4] The first step of Return to Nepal Initiative (RNI) has been a collective efforts to bring a positive perceptions on returning to Nepal and exploring opportunities back home.[5]

RNI movement was initiated in the beginning of 2019 by Rajendra Pangeni and group of friends living in the US and beyond.[6]
