Azul joined TV5's talent search program Star Factor in 2010, where she ended up being the 4th Final Star.[1][2] She was introduced as one of TV5's Primetime Princesses, along with Danita Paner, Arci Muñoz, Jasmine Curtis and Eula Caballero. She made her acting debut in the TV series Mga Nagbabagang Bulaklak, where she played one of the lead characters. In 2013, she starred in the miniseries Misibis Bay, which is set in a resort in Bicol of the same name.

The following year, she starred in her first lead role with ABS-CBN in the drama series The Promise of Forever opposite Paulo Avelino and Ejay Falcon.[4] In 2018, she joined the ensemble cast of the afternoon series Los Bastardos where she portrayed the love interest of Joseph Marco, one of the series' male leads.
