The men's tournament of rugby sevens at the 2022 Asian Games was held at the Cangqian Athletics Field, Hangzhou, China from 24 to 26 September 2023.[1]

The Sri Lanka national team competed as Independent Athletes under the Olympic Council of Asia flag for this event.[2]
