Saki Yew is a drag performer who competed on the sixth series of RuPaul's Drag Race UK.
Career
[edit]Drag performer Saki Yew competed on the sixth series of RuPaul's Drag Race UK. She and fellow contestant Zahirah Zapanta were the show's first of Filipino descent.[1] Saki Yew left the competition in the second episode because of a knee injury, placing twelfth overall.[2][3][4]
Personal life
[edit]In addition to being of Filipino descent, Saki Yew has Australian and Mancunian backgrounds.[5] Saki Yew is from Melbourne and lives in Manchester.[6][7] Saki Yew uses the pronouns she/her in drag and he/him out of drag.[8]
