Sardar Shakhawat Hossain Bokul is a Bangladesh Nationalist Party politician and the former Member of Parliament of Narsingdi-4.

Career[edit]

Bokul was elected to parliament from Narsingdi-4 as a Bangladesh Nationalist Party candidate in 1991 and 2001.[1]

On 4 June 2017, he was sued by a businessman for extortion.[2] On 26 December 2013, he was arrested from the residence of Khaleda Zia, former Prime Minister and Chairperson of Bangladesh Nationalist Party.[3] He was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital following his arrest.[4]
