Scoop B Radio

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Scoop B Radio is an American media network for sports, entertainment and culture.[1]

History

[edit]

Scoop B Radio originated as a podcast that showcased childhood interviews with former NBA players BJ Armstrong, Scott Burrell,[2] Dikembe Mutombo, and Jayson Williams that were stored in a Timberland box at his parents home.[3][4]

The platform expanded to a blog and video platform that amassed 2.1 million impressions according to One37 and as a result partnered with Zenni, NBA 2K, Adidas[5] and the GameTime App to create original programming.[6][7]

Scoop B Radio became a standalone media network and expanded in 2020 during the coronavirus pandemic.[8][9] with interviews with household names like Pete Sampras, Shaquille O’Neal, Charles Barkley, Kenny ‘The Jet’ Smith, DJ Khaled and Mark Cuban[10] being topics of conversation on ESPN, Bleacher Report and Fox News.[11][12]
