Socialist Janata Dal (abbr. SJD) is an Indian political party in formed following a split in the Janata Dal (United).[1][2] The party had an alliance with National Democratic Alliance in Kerala and it also supported the NDA in the central government. The leader of the party is V. V. Rajendran, secretary general B T Rema.[3] SJD has been working with NDA since March 2014.[4]
Mahila Dakshata Samiti is an Organisation works for the interests of Women, is closely associated with SJD.[5]
