State Service of Special Communications and Information Security of the Republic of Azerbaijan - provides organization, functioning, security and development of special-purpose information and communication systems and networks for state bodies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, interdepartmental electronic document circulation, connection of state bodies to the Internet network, placement of information resources in the information and resource center, implementation of special technical measures for the purpose of security of state protection objects and protected objects.

History

First, on October 1, 1994, the institution was established as a "Communication and Technical Division" within the Material and Technical Supply Department of the General Protection Department of the Supreme State Power and Management Bodies of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Later, its activities as an independent department, department and department were carried out by the Special State Protection Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan. continued in the structure. According to the Decree No. 708 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated September 26, 2012, the State Agency for Special Communication and Information Security of the Special State Protection Service was established, and with the Decree No. 957 dated March 16, 2020, the Special Communication and Information Security of the Republic of Azerbaijan was established at the base of the Agency. The Civil Service was created.[1] By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 15, 2022, he adopted a decision "On the appointment of I.A. Musayev as the head of the State Service of Special Communication and Information Security of the Republic of Azerbaijan".[2][3][4][5][6]
