  • Eyes very large.
  • Tarsi 5-5-5.

  • Collection method: hand collection, sweep net, sifting leaf litter near streams.
  • Biology: specialized predators of Collembola.

Two genera, Dianous (2 spp.) and Stenus (167 spp.) in North America.
