Students' rebellion in Tashkent

On January 16–17, 1992, more than a thousand students started a protest movement in the student campus in Tashkent due to the increase in the price of bread and other types of food and also the delay of the scholarships. In this event, 2 students died[1] and more than 10 protesters were injured.[2][3]
