Sulakshana Mithi Kachari

Sulakshana Mithi Kachari is a government official working with Assam Government. She is a senior information officer recruited under Assam Public Service Commission. [1] Before working at the Directorate of Information and Public Relations (Govt of Assam) headquarters in Guwahati, she also worked in Dibrugarh district.[1][2]

Before joining the Government of Assam, Mithi worked as a journalist. When she was working as a journalist, Mithi along with her friend Nitali Sarmah filed a PIL at the Gauhati High Court seeking separate toilets for women in public places in Guwahati.[3]
