Name of Article
[edit]This article is about the descendants of Cornelio Avila (and not the whole Avila family) who were influential in early Southern California history. They are important, but probably each don't deserve their own page. They are often confused with each other, and having them on one page helps.Emargie (talk) 15:49, 28 April 2009 (UTC)
Francisco Avila
[edit]The Huntington Library, Early California Population Project Database, 2006, provides the following dates for Maria del Rosaria Verdugo, first wife of Francisco Avilla: birth 06 May 1793; burial 08 Jul 1822 (Mission San Gabriel Arcángel); and marriage date 25 Apr 1808 (Mission San Gabriel Arcángel).
As a newbie I don't really feel confident yet to make the actual article corrections Robertshobe (talk) 19:37, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
