[edit]

The article on the Etaples mutiny was very misleading. Most quotes were accurate , except that they refer to different events, woven together. The only character missing is d'Artagnan!

I have removed references to the geocities site, which does not exist anymore. Added some clarifications, denials of various rumours, memorial to J F Davies I am done, I think?

This is a very scrappy article, particularly for what was a fairly important incident. PatGallacher (talk) 20:48, 13 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

As the article states, the enquiry files were destroyed. So full info won't be known. But it can be better. Rich Farmbrough, 02:44, 21 April 2010 (UTC).[reply]

It is indeed very scrappy and on occasion so badly written as to be unintelligible, so I've tried to improve it, although this has resulted in some deletions.Ausseagull (talk) 15:41, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What has gone on here?!

[edit]

Over the last year or so, there has been a massive deletion of well-written, well-structured and referenced material, which has been replaced by a rambling, unencyclopedic mess. I will set about reinstating the deleted content. Grant | Talk 05:48, 8 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

J.F. Davies section

[edit]

I took out the JF Davies section, it didn't make any sense to me. If he's notable for some reason, please re-add it and explain why it's important. Otherwise it's just a random history of a random person. --AW (talk) 22:20, 19 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Unrelated event

[edit]

The last paragraph of 'background' appears unrelated. It happened at a different time and a different place. Is there anything to link the incidents? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 36.37.151.195 (talk) 22:42, 4 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
