The French article says the Loire is sometimes "locally known" as the Boire, not that this is a former name; we have this same phrase in English, rivers and lakes can be referred to as "the drink". I have no idea if it really is locally known as that, though. Adam Bishop (talk) 07:40, 11 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
