River flow

[edit]

I tried hard to trace the source and the belarusian part of the river in maps, but the rivers/rivulets in this area (around 53°56'42.7"N 24°52'20.0"E) and around are so heavily channeled that I cannot tell heads from tails to verify the sources. The area is also part of the Lithuanian ethnographic region, so I had hard time to restore correct Belarusian names for toponyms mentioned in Lithuanian sources. It is hardly an important topic, I just enjoyed a bit of detective work. And it is not the first time I found that published sources are rather sloppy in details. and I am still not sure that 84km is the "true" length of the river, because numbers of its parts from various sources do not sum up.
