ZilvakaZilavka — Zilavka is the proper spelling as given by sources, while Zilvaka is a misspelling. The synonym to Furmint is already covered in this article. Tomas e (talk) 23:56, 31 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If this grape is a synonym of Furmint, is there a reason for it to have a separate article? Camw (talk) 13:46, 6 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
No, the grape variety with the primary name Zilavka is distinct from Furmint, as is evidenced by separate records in the Vitis International Variety Catalogue. However, the name Zilavka is currently occupied by a redirect to Furmint, which is why I needed to request a move rather than just carrying out myself. Unfortunately, overlapping synonyms, often deriving from varieties being mixed up in some regions, is very common. Tomas e (talk) 22:11, 6 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support As the original author it appears that I did make a spelling error when creating this article and it should be moved to the correct spelling. However it looks like the Zilavka synonym for Furmint is still valid so we will need to make sure we have a DAB link on top. AgneCheese/Wine 22:33, 6 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Move performed, as per consensus. Fut.Perf. 12:53, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
