HRH as a general semitic root

[edit]

The root HRM is not just arabic. It also appears in Hebrew (both archaic and modern) as חרמ. The most common modern word with this root that I can think of is חרם, pronounced Herem and roughly meaning excommunication. Does anyone think this is worth including or have any ideas on how to phrase it? Mr. Neo Anderson 22:01, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

punctuation

[edit]

Is it usual in Arabic and/or Hebrew to display such roots with hyphens? —Tamfang (talk) 23:51, 25 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
