Use as anti-sniper weapon[edit]

Dear Sirs I have great difficulty believing that what was said about the .475 N ° 2, as a sniper cartridge may be true: his ball was much slower than .303 british Mk VIII (2550 fps) and that which pierces a metal plate is the speed of the projectile striking not its energy .
