Oh, Canada[edit]

I tagged WP Canada & WP LEO, since the .476 Enfield Mk 1 revolver was a NWMP weapon. TREKphiler hit me ♠ 05:54, 1 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the WP Canada tag, as the connection is very minor. PKT(alk) 16:50, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Not if somebody can get a pic here... TREKphiler hit me ♠ 01:08, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Re-removed the WP Canada tag, this article is not within the scope of the project. PKT(alk) 16:14, 5 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

.455 Webley[edit]

There appear to be some discrepancies between this article and that for the .455 Webley concerning loadings for the latter (I am not expert in such matters.) — Robert Greer (talk) 21:07, 28 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Added some there; hope that addresses the issue. TREKphiler any time you're ready, Uhura 19:17, 30 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Romans[edit]

Changed Arabic numerals for Mark variations to Roman numerals. British nomenclature did not use Arabic numerals for Marks until after WW II, well past the time when this cartridge was in service. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.4.142.104 (talk) 16:37, 30 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You also changed them in the source titles, which is a wrong change. Also, you could (should) have simply said this in the edit summary. TREKphiler any time you're ready, Uhura 19:17, 30 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Mass and Muzzle Velocity[edit]

What was the muzzle-energy of the .476 compared to the .455? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.124.130.70 (talk) 11:40, 26 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Error about the .476 Enfield Cartridge[edit]

After trying and checking with my collection I found this round only can loaded when the Revolver is marked 455/476. This means the chamber is tapered in shape, not steped like the normal chamber in the normal .455 round. The book: Cartridges of the World is wrong so don't quote it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nambu44 (talkcontribs) 12:27, 2 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
