I will review this later today; good to see you have been nominating so many Pop Smoke songs for GA, but remember to add wikiprojects on the talk pages of the articles. --K. Peake 08:33, 23 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox and lead[edit]

Background and composition[edit]

  • "listen to it; he stated that everyone recognized that the song" → "listening to it, everyone recognized the song"
  • Target programming to Programming (music)

  • Either mention in the release sentence that it was in the United States or various countries; only do the latter if you add more citations
  • There are mentions of the song's percussion and hook from sources that you should write in this article
  • "states that Pop Smoke raps," → "stated that Pop Smoke raps,"
  • Are you sure you can't find any sources that mention the lyrical meaning of the song, rather than just listing lyrics?
Kyle Peake There was only a handful of reliable sources for the song. The Ultimate Boss (talk) 01:55, 24 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Make sure all of these are archived by using the tool
  • Wikilink Apple Music on ref 3
  • Below the references, there are the categories listed for the song but you have not added anywhere near enough; start with basics like Pop Smoke songs

Final comments and verdict[edit]

  •  On hold until all of the issues are fixed, plus it is good to complete a review for you today after the article from last night was passed earlier on! --K. Peake 10:49, 23 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Done. The Ultimate Boss (talk) 01:55, 24 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The Ultimate Boss You still need to add the sentence to the lead I mentioned, mention the release was various or in the United States and change writer to songwriter. I'd advise you to pay attention to everything that is said during reviews, as I shouldn't really have to go over comments again for short articles like this one. --K. Peake 06:06, 24 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Kyle Peake, why do I need to add if was released various or in the United States? Seems very tedious to add that. I’ll fix the other issue though. The Ultimate Boss (talk) 06:16, 24 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The Ultimate Boss That is normally how releases are mentioned in articles, plus I was referring to change writer to songwriter in the personnel section like I mentioned earlier... you cannot do that in the infobox it now displays no writers. Also you still forgot to add the sentence to the lead like an unreliable editor. --K. Peake 07:10, 24 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The Ultimate Boss There's only three fixes and since that is a small amount, I did them for you due to your activity elsewhere and feel free to alter if there's anything you think I was incorrect to write in.  Pass --K. Peake 06:45, 25 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
