Copyvio

[edit]

The recent additions to this article seem still to involve direct copying or unacceptably close paraphrasing of copyrighted sources, including the following:

  • The Victorian Heritage Database entry "Former BHP House". Examples: Much of the "Historical Significance" subsection, along with most of the fourth paragraph of the "Construction" section.
  • Goad's Melbourne Architecture, as quoted on [http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=632933 this page] (itself a copyvio), for example. Examples: Most of the first, third, and fifth paragraphs of the "Construction" section; some of the fourth paragraph as well.

I suspect that the material sourced to the magazine Architecture in Australia may also violate copyright, though I don't have access to the source to be sure. None of this material should be readded unless it can be confirmed to be expressed in a fashion that does not violate the copyright of others. Deor (talk) 16:27, 18 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
