Single status

[edit]

This song was not sent to radio anywhere. It is most certainly not being promoted as a single by Beyoncé's team, as that would be Texas Hold 'Em. Beyoncé's website lists THE as the first single. I think this should be reviewed and an appropriate conclusion should be drawn. 193.1.98.139 (talk) 19:26, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. This seems to be the same situation as Love So Soft and Move You where two songs were released; one as the lead radio single and the other as a digital-only promotional single. 71.234.178.78 (talk) 21:11, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Agree. This article should be edited to reflect that it is a promotional single. Similar to Camila Cabello's "Havana" (lead single) and "OMG" (promotional single), and "Love Story (Taylor's Version)" (is considered a promo single since it was never sent to radio). You're both incorrect. "Love so Soft" was a full single. There's no such thing as "its not sent to radio so its not a single". Outside of the US, there's very rarely a radio release. In the UK for example, songs aren't released to radio because radio airplay doesn't count in the charts. What you have said is original research. Other stuff existing doesn't set a precedent. You need a source calling it a promo. "OMG" is different as it wasn't included on the album, "Havana" was. >> Lil-unique1 (talk)12:47, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
