Is it worth discussing the substitutes and local replacements?

[edit]

In New York City, the 1890 census was distrusted, and the Police ordered to complete a second census. Because of this mistrust, New York reinstituted the State census, which began in 1892. Is this worth mentioning? ThuranX 14:54, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced statement=

[edit]

The following statement was unsourced for at least three years, so I'm moving it to the talk page.

The public reaction to this tabulation was disbelief, as it was widely believed that the "right answer" was at least 75,000,000.[citation needed]
