"10th and last year of the 1890's"[edit]

This is, strictly speaking, factually incorrect. ALL decades begin with the year ending in 1, not 0, as 0 is a relatively new concept, only having been invented 1200-1500 years ago. I assume this error appears on many pages about years ending in 9, however, they are all the 9th, not 10th year of their respective decades. I feel that this correction ought to be made on this and all pages with this same error. Thank You.ADg2k14 (talk) 19:03, 1 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The Anno Domini system of dating is only about 1200 years old itself. MightyArms (talk) 02:21, 11 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism on the page[edit]

Hello,
Somebody has either vandalised the page, or misplaced a template or piece of information. If there is someone who can remove it (I am terrible at editing), I'd greatly appreciate it.

Tornado in Herman, Nebraska[edit]

It is listed as June 13 (with 40 killed) and July 13th (with 13 killed). Wikipedia entry for the village statesman the July 13th date only. 2603:8000:3701:832B:EC72:2C0B:29A6:3DA1 (talk) 06:24, 6 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Dimitri Tiomkin[edit]

Is listed in the births for this year. His biographical page reports 1894. Which is it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A00:23C7:5B95:FA01:84E1:A5A7:2F61:B194 (talk) 18:20, 10 February 2023 (UTC) I've moved him to 1894 births based on https://dimitritiomkin.com/biography/dimitri-tiomkin/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A00:23C7:5B95:FA01:C188:B903:3B12:E7C9 (talk) 07:47, 11 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Split this article (and other sufficient articles covering years in the 1800s) into months?[edit]

Considering that the every month in the 20th and 21st Centuries (so far) are covered by seperate Wikipedia articles, why not begin extending that before 1900? I think there is enough content in each month of 1899 to warrant seperate articles at least, and I'm sure the quality of the months could be improved. What do you guys all think?
