@MisterCake: This recent edit purports to support 1899 Clemson football membership in SIAA, but does not mention football, therefore fails verification, and has been reverted. The existing citation, pg 196, 200 shows no conference affiliation for football in 1899. Per WP:BURDEN, please do not re-add disputed content without providing a clear and explicit citation. Not about me, it's about WP:V. That citation does not state 1899 Clemson football was in the SIAA. Do you believe it is a valid citation for the point of contention in this article? UW Dawgs (talk) 02:28, 22 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
